Many of them likely won't have the cash to do it, at least from general operations. It won't be a matter not wanting to fire them, it'll be a matter of not being able to afford to fire them.

Mason, for example, is most definitely on the hot seat. Even at Vandy. However, they just signed him to another extension last year. Nobody knows for how long or what the buyout is (private school), but at an academically-oriented institution like that they might not want to spend cash on coaching buyouts in this economic environment.

Hate to see Montgomery on your list but it is what it is. He will land on his feet though because he is a much better play caller than Briles at Arkansas and Lebby at Ole Miss.

Philip Montgomery will be a very good offensive coordinator somewhere like Kentucky or Texas where they need one badly.
