We had a restaurant called Lee's famous recipe back home. They had a buffet on Sunday, and mamy Sunday's after church that's where we'd have to go. They had liver on the buffet, and my parents loved them.

I wouldn't consider Chorizo an organ product. In Portugal and Ecuador they make one that's like black pudding, but that's just nasty.

I lived in KY in the 90s. I remember Lee's Famous Recipe, ate there several times.

I think my aversion comes from using some chicken liver in a haunted house thing back in the late 70's and after about an hour that stuff got rank, as you can imagine. I was young and didn't think about it. It took several days to get the smell off my hands. I can't even look at it without smelling that smell.
