Just corrected my typo on Demmings.

Yeah, some have said her background in LE could hurt her chances but one can spin that either way.

Biden is doing a good show of hiding his advisers on economics and foreign policy (who are centrists. The man won the Democratic primary as a moderate. He will govern Center left and there will be some republicans brought into the fold. But he can’t say that out loud at this point.

Thanks Orangeburst. The tomatoes are doing great. Weather hasn’t been too bad so far. Probably a little warmer than average but lower humidity than normal all last week and nights still getting down to 69 or 70. Need some rain though.

Demmings wont make it through vetting due to her issues as Orlando’s police chief. Lots of excessive-force allegations and lawsuits. She’s going to be left in Florida to run against Marco Rubio in 2022.

Burisma Holdings, the eastern European natural gas conglomerate that once had Hunter Biden on its board of directors, is being accused of attempting to bribe Ukrainian officials with more than $5 million in order to end a corruption probe into the company.

Ukrainian law enforcement officials announced on Saturday at a press conference in Kyiv that they had seized more than $5 million in what is alleged to be a bribery scheme perpetrated to benefit Mykola Zlochevsky, Burisma’s founder.

According to Ukrainian officials, three suspects, who all have ties to Zlochvesky, attempted to bribe anti-corruption officials investigating the Burisma and its founder for embezzlement. Burisma, thus far, has denied any part in the scheme.

Nazar Kholodnytsky, the head of Ukraine’s national anti-corruption bureau, claimed the alleged scheme had no connection with either Hunter Biden or his father, the presumptive Democrat nominee.

There are more moderates than any other partisan group. This is literally the new silent majority. These are the people who see their friends' and family members' crazy posts on social media, then instead of commenting realize it is too much effort to engage and just log off.

The slacktivist Che Guevaras on Twitter and Facebook heralds of Trumptopia just make the most noise.

Marco Rubio was re-elected to the Senate because he said he would be a check on Trump. Rubio doesn’t have the mystique he had pre-Trump. Demming’s record would be bad on the national stage but in a senate race against Rubio it wouldn’t hurt.
