2020 Presidential Race

I wasn't talking about the fake popular vote. That doesn't count!
It is funny how the word "fake" is being bastardized by Trump and his minions. It used to refer to something that was fraudulent or counterfeit. In the Trump lexicon, it's an all-purpose description of anything unfavorable that we disagree with, or don't like.

Maybe by the end of year 8, you will figure trump out
I think I have him pretty figured out. Trump talks like a tough guy, but in reality, he is very sensitive and likes to feel sorry for himself. Trump relishes playing the role of a victim. He also lacks self-awareness and doesn't understand when he is being a hypocrite or saying ignorant things. One day he is attacking Twitter for violating his 1st Amendment rights (which they can't do, because they are a private business) and then the next day, he is sending a cease and desist letter to CNN demanding a retraction over one of their polls (which is a violation of their 1st Amendment rights, because he is the President). Trump is completely guided by an over-sized but very fragile ego. He is insecure, thin-skinned, dishonest, immature, egocentric and not very bright.

So much winning

Too bad the election is still 5 months away. That’s plenty of time for the economy to recover (or be well on its way to recovery) and for the democrats to completely **** up their party’s nomination process.

And yes, that’s also plenty of time for Trump and the GOP to **** up as well.

Just looking around the internet to try and find someone (anyone?) who would defend that Trump cease and desist letter to CNN's Jeff Zucker. I literally can't find any of the regular Trump apologists who would do it. The strategy of Trump's supporters is shifting away from defending him ... and more towards exclusively attacking Biden. You see that on this forum as well. Nobody who supports Trump, seems to want to talk about him anymore. They just want to talk about Biden. The Trump online re-election strategy is going to rest completely on the "Trump is the lesser of two evils" argument. What a thing to hang your hat on as the incumbent.

On that same line of thinking, nobody who is planning to vote for Joe Biden can articulate why they’re voting for him other than to say, “he’s not Trump.”

I just changed the channel to Comedy Central and Trevor Noah was interviewing Biden. Biden was saying he’s going to bring the country together, this and that and then said “but I’m going to make mistakes. I’m going to make some serious mistakes.”
That was all of the 20 or 30 seconds I watched of it, but I can’t imagine that’s a sound bite his campaign wanted to have coming out his mouth, regardless of the amount Trump’s dumb sound bites.

That is mostly true... but that isn't an usual position for the challenger. It is from an incumbent.
