The fact that everyone wants corona to be no more serious than the flu - just doesn’t make it so.

The US has already had more people die from Corona this year than die from the flu in a typical year and dramatically fewer people have contracted Corona. You don’t have to do any great deal of research or be a mathlete to figure this out. Without vaccinations there will not be fans this season.

Not true. You can be complete asymptomatic (including a lack of fever) and still be contagious for up to 14 days.

What is not cancelled out is the blanket labeling of every "Covid positive" death as a Covid death. In a buried page on the CDC website I found that only 7% of the deaths being called "Covid" had Covid alone as the cause of death. Granted that is not the full impact of the virus. But CDC has the information to tell us how many have died FROM Covid as the primary cause, how many had Covid as a secondary contributing cause, and those who died from something else with Covid as a minor factor or purely incidental to death.

The video I posted above ASSURES massive overcounting.

Another brilliant strategy by Saban. Using the virus to give his team a competitive edge... While other teams are weakened by the virus during football season, his team will have already developed an immunity.

Covid "deaths" are being systematically overcounted making it appear more deadly than the flu. While everyone who dies Covid positive according to Dr Birx should be counted as a Covid death regardless of actual cause... the flu has never been counted that way. CDC recently buried a significant stat. Only 7% of those counted as Covid deaths actually have Covid-19 listed as the singular cause of death according to the attending medical provider. The other 93% died from some degree of Covid-19 as a comorbidity that accelerated someone's death from another cause to a case where being Covid positive was purely incidental to their death. George Floyd was reportedly Covid positive when he died. According to Birx, he should be counted as a Covid death.

... the actual infection fatality rate is no greater than about .26% assuming asymptomatic/unreported mild cases are only 35% (which is absurdly low).

... less than 20% and likely closer to 10% of any given population will become infected with or without symptoms- the immune systems of the rest will fight it off

.... about 50% of Covid positive deaths are in people 80 or older.... 75% are 70 or older... 90% are 60 or older... 1% or less under 30..

... and inside these numbers.... the average Covid positive death had 2.5 comorbidities... other things that caused or contributed heavily to their death... these are unhealthy, primarily older people... not kids or football players

... hospitalization rates are low by comparison

... if you are under 50 your chances of dying from the flu are higher than your chances of dying from Covid-19

... the virus essentially does not spread outside according to a study in China, the virus is dispersed into concentrations unlikely to cause an infection and is destroyed quickly in outdoor conditions

... spread through surface contact is rare if it exists at all


A false narrative may very well win the day. Unfounded fear and propaganda may lead to irrational decisions. But the facts... do not support the response being proposed.

Have you seen so many die as many as 900 a day in NYC that they had to have ice trucks.. You think that is normal? Denial or conspiracy theory not sure what you are eat up with.

Don't doubt that one bit. Really would be interesting to know just how many people had it, got over it and never knew it, whether they were asymptomatic or just showed very little signs of it.

That may or may not be true. Data are still being collected on the to determine if that is true or not. In addition, the second year of a novel virus pandemic is almost more more sever than the first wave. All people should continue to take caution with their activities and be alert to any symptoms which may present until a effective vaccine and or treatment is developed. Please do not assume that even small children can become infected with this virus and result in death or lifetime adverse conditions.
