Systemic Racism

Gateway drug? Are we using old “drugs are bad” talking points again? People who smoke weed don’t wake up one day and say “hey you know what? I’m gonna shoot some heroin today!” or “man, this weed is good, but I’m going to cook me a batch of meth”.

Dude, go to a Narcotics Anonymous meeting and see if you still feel that way. I worked in a youth outreach program for many years and "I was trying drugs, and one day I tried heroin and really liked it. Now I'm here" is the most common story in that place.

I agree with your over all point though. The people who smoke weed responsibly shouldn't be held accountable for everyone who does hard drugs. That isn't right.

Would you be Ok with a stoner operating your chemical plant while high on weed? From a safety standpoint?
Obviously you have a reading comprehension problem. I said nobody wants a stoned chemical plant operator. Is that too hard to understand?

No, I saw that, but your overall post seemed a little ambiguous on that.

Not ambiguous at all. The company doesn’t allow it and it’s a perfectly logical policy. And they make the rules. If people can’t abide by or don’t like the policy, they don’t have to work for that company. Pretty simple concept. The other part is you can’t play favorites. You test the operators then you have to test the secretaries, salesmen, shipping clerks and everyone else.

Thanks for clarifying. BTW me are a chemical engineer with 45 years in the industry.

I started a new thread, because I keep asking this question of the "woke" crowd of posters but can't get an answer.

Please give me examples of "systematic racism' that African Americans face that prevent them from succeeding in America. I truly would like to see what the thoughts are on this.

I am also curious as to why this "systematic racism" doesn't affect Asians, Hispanics, Middle-Eastern races the same ways

And side effects? Lol. The only side affect to smoking weed is getting high. It is almost impossible to OD on, and people don’t start going on murdering sprees once they smoke the devils lettuce. That’s some Reefer Madness ********.
Younger users of partying age are more likely to try acid.... cocaine... mushrooms.... Valium....ecstasy .... and etc. not that I have first hand experience or anything

To be fair that is a pretty simple word. I don't play spelling police but if you don't know it is stealing how much credibility in an intellectual debate do you have? If it was a typo or a tricky word ok. But steeling? Talk about the failings of the education system.

You also don't know what a socialist is apparently.

I don't think anyone here has heard me personally despair about my lot in life. I do pretty well myself. I just feel for others. There were times I made less in a year than what I made in the first 3 months of the year so I understand what it is to struggle.

You're a marxist supporter. If you do as well as you claim, you should freely give more of your money to taxes. Yet you will not because you're a hypocrite.

This idea that paying more taxes will help people get out of povery is just laughable. It really shows how delusional you people are.

Can you define Marxism?

Regardless of the wisdom of drug use, I think our current drug policy is reasonable by where we put young men in a facility that often subjects them to anal rape and long term psychological trauma, all for putting a naughty substance in their own body. That is the definition of a just legal system.
So the reward for putting a naughty substance in your body is being sent to jail and having naughty substances put in your body

Liberals have spent the last 50 years winning the cultural War, arming schools with progressive ideology and convincing black people they are victims of whitey. You can't move ahead when you are convinced someone is intentionally holding you back.

What makes the argument more convincing is the white bigots that promote it and the uppity blacks stuck on the liberal plantation as J.C. Watts once stated. I'm not sure if they knowingly are aware it is a trick and so stupid to not know the difference in race baiting.

The agenda the liberals want you to believe exist today is the one from the 1960's. They are the great whodini's of responsibility. Every time I saw a white liberal assuming I'm a Democrat I want to tell them stfu and pass me my latte but I just smile. You can see that look like he's not a normal black.

So in a town like Memphis where 52% of the police force are black, are we now saying that a majority of the mistreatment by police are actually black cops on black people? Or does that not fit the narrative. Serious question.
Yes.

We saw black cops abusing black students for breaking curfew in ATL a few days ago.

It isn't about black or white. We have a law enforcement problem. Period.

There is a problem with police shootings in America. But the problem is not quite as race related as the media portrays it!
Lets not get distracted... the media is wanting to paint a race narrative. That isn't what the main issue is. It is a cop problem.

Not really sure what police shooting stats have to do with George Floyd since he had a knee on his neck, though.

This is how you destroy a race as best you can.

1. You in slave them. Our government allowed this

2. Once freed you create a BS system of separate but equal that gives one race a much better education than another. Our government did this under J.C. laws for over 100 years

3. Once J.C. laws are abolished you begin flooding their area with drugs. Our government did this with the CIA.

4. You pass an abortion law right after the J.C. laws are abolished and removed God from the schools. You offer free planned parenting by a group formed by M.S. who was a huge fan of eugenics. You begin to deconstruct the nuclear family. You begin to train a group that has lower income levels than the average white family at this time that abortion is a great option.

5. You pass strong drug reform laws that punish law level dealers and you begin incarceration of this race at an extremely high level disportonate to their numbers. Many given near life sentence for small grams of weed.

6. You abort over 50 million babies assuring their numbers never reach enough population to be anything other than an Ace on the hole come voting time.

7. You get a media to convince them they can only trust one type of political party and that the other party "wants to put you back in chains" and "you aren't black" if you vote for them.

8. You set back and let everything boil.

It's not a black/white issue. It's a powerful government groups needing to divide issue to maintain power.
You left out one more bullet point,

9. Use what you've learned in destroying the black community and then apply those same tactics to the larger society.

I referenced earlier the Daniel Patrick Moynahan Report that was released back in the mid 1960s that highlighted the urgency to address the 25% out of wedlock birth rates in the black community at that time. White out of wedlock rate was at 4%. Fast forward to now, and you have the black rate at 70%+ and white rates at 25%... the same place the black community was in the 1960s.
