If you believe the model now then you also believe this prediction from the same model

The model, which uses unemployment, disposable income and inflation to forecast election results, predicts that Trump will lose in a landslide, capturing just 35% of the popular vote. That's a sharp reversal from the model's pre-crisis prediction that Trump would win about 55% of the vote. And it would be the worst performance for an incumbent in a century.

Does anyone believe Trump would have received 55% of the vote if the Corona hadn't come along? HINT: the last time that happened was 1984 (Reagan) and it's only happened a handful of times dating back to Hoover.

Yep. I still think Trump defeats Biden, although it may be a little closer than it was going to be.

Rs and supposed to be conservatives, yet any chance they get they are voting in big government, spending money left right and sideways.

The Ds are supposed to be liberal and for the small people, but they vote every piece of corporate pork thru they get their hands on. And despite being anti war they get super ticked off anytime we try and avoid a conflict or get out of one.

Point is they both "support" policies they know they wont put to the test because they have the country divided to support them no matter how far they get from their ideals.

It’s not really the same because they win elections and the implementation of their ideas, or the lack thereof, face constant scrutiny.

When libertarians start winning elections that matter then they’ll have to make the same decisions and face similar scrutiny.

Look I’m not anti libertarian by any means, but it’s easy to say what you would have done different or how you wouldn’t compromise on xyz when you have no chance of winning.

Should the President of the United States be emulating the media? Does that make it okay, to promote conspiracy theories, just because certain members of the media do? Shouldn't the President be held to a higher standard of conduct than the media? It is amazing how low the bar is for Trump's conduct. As long as Trump supporters can point to anyone else who behaves in a similar fashion, then in their minds, his own behavior is completely excusable.

What I do not understand is the belief that a third or more party will solve our problems. Last time I looked the European or Israeli model is as much or more a mess as our system. You cannot rule such a vast nation with diverging interests without clamor and the liberal interest in massive national mandates only exacerbates the problem. We need less federalism, not more.

If we’re going to stick with a two party system I’d gladly trade the Republican Party for the Libertarian Party. The Republican Party sucks.

I agree and cannot stand McConnell and some others. They need new leadership. My Christmas wish is for Ron Paul as VP.
