Good grill for the money. Like the charcoal pan handle to raise & lower the heat. For charcoal side, lightly coat both sides of the cast iron grates with a spray oil & fire it off before cooking on it. It’ll season them, help keep things from sticking & help against rust. Oil will wear off eventually; repeat the spray oil when it does. Coat the propane side also & fire off. Rocks on the propane side not necessary but will help absorb any oil drippings. Walmart or Kroger brands will work for the spray oil. When cooking, put utensils ends you use in a cup of water, it’ll keep the fly’s off them

@Vjcvette, wuz up girl? That driveby hit it & quit it the other night was a lil disrespectful. Come back an apologize. We have feelin’s in here
You know how I feel bout pellets. Same people that use pellets use electric lawn mowers.![]()
Gotta be careful talkin bout the pellets round here. Got some that’s a lil tinderDon't use pellets, but have a charcoal barrel smoker and a watt burner that uses chips. The watt burner spanks the barrel on brisket. And I just learned the trick on chickens and drunk chickens on my barrel smoker. Had them down to a science on my gas burner, but that went away 5 years ago. Chicken is not for MB watt burners. Can't crisp the skin up. When we smoke wings on the electric, they are great, but we finish them in the air fryer to crisp up before saucing or dusting. But, I don't have a electric mower, so it evens out.
