Someone with a health condition is different than the perfectly healthy people who walk around with a mask or drive alone in their car wearing a mask, these people are dumbasses

What they aren’t telling you is that YOU are more likely to get ill by wearing a mask. You are less likely to spread it to someone else. That’s why they are recommending it. The scientists still think you won’t wear it correctly, have a false sense of security, and will touch it all the time thus increasing your own risk.

I often wonder how many of them are in some sort of job that requires them to get in and out of the car a lot. Like Uber eats. They may just leave it on bc it’s less of a pain the ass then taking it on and off.

2. The cloth mask is not for your protection. It’s supposed to protect others from you.

3. A false sense of security is still a sense of security. Which is the point. If priority one is re-establishing the economy, because this was all a big overreaction, then acquiescing you’re wearing the mask is the best way to promote consumer security and get people back out spending money, at least that’s the conclusion reached by many businesses.

4. Finally, if the virus is nbd, only dangerous to old people, then it’s not a false sense of security. You’re just correcting your previous mistaken belief that being out in public puts you in danger. Unless you’re old.

I don’t believe it’s dangerous to be out in public. And your whole false sense of security rant makes no sense. Call it “makes you more likely to do dumb **** and get yourself sick.”
