What Happened to America?

This whole concept and narrative of "if you are not with us, you are against us and therefore the enemy" has got to stop. It is truly unAmerican.

The left loves to use the fallacy of Arguing to Emotion. They know emotion can "win" every time (in their own minds). They love to shame you because you dont care about 80,000 deaths enough to stay home and wear a mask. Yet they did not give one *** about 66,000 deaths last year, and every year before it as evidenced by no Stay at Home and not wearing masks. They will also not do it again next year.

All of this is optics and the left loves optics...well except when it comes to Joe Biden.

You could have at least placed one measly sentence between these two competing ideas. At least throw a slice of bologna to the mouth breathers who would be easily fooled by your 'friends' ramblings of partisan nonsense. This was a low effort troll.

Zeppelin needed an example. He used the term liberal when the OP had said the left. Leftists are extremists. Democrats and liberals should distance themselves from them.

What defines a leftist if it's not democrat, progressive or liberal?

Do you have your own definition?

The left use to be mostly rational, America loving people. They had a few radicals but they really didn't have too much of a voice. Something happened recently, the radicals which is now the base feels empowered to bash and hate the country and hope to destroy us.

The USA was an experiment in survival of the fittest, those that took the risk worked the hardest and yes had a little luck could succeed. Our problem is we have moved away from that mindset.

I have some real kick azz neighbors that would assist me in plowing fields if needed. Maybe you need a change of scenery or friends to lift your spirits. Hope this helps.

I don't know about "anybody", but it seems to fit the VN posters that are on the left.
I don't really think we have any "leftists" on the board. Most are center-left neoliberals with a few Bernie Bro types.
If we had true leftists on the board, we'd be overrun with Marxists and anarchists.
But, like I said, anything to the left of far Right beliefs on here is "socialism". These posts in the thread show that to be true.

What you consider the center is far left of plumb.

I think there's been a move in that general direction globally.

Compared to say, Western Europe, the United States seems like an extremely entrepreneurial, risk-taking, hard-working society. It isn't as much as it used to be, but it is compared to much of the rest of the world. Not only is it so much harder to start a business in Europe, I don't think a ton of people would want to even if it was easier. There's a different mentality over there. They like to make fun of Americans because we don't take as much vacation as they do on average and don't have a certain amount of vacation days guaranteed by the government.

Just as republicans and conservatives should distance themselves from Trumpers.
If that had happened, this nightmare would have ended long ago.

If they are a minority, as you say, then Trump should win in a landslide of Biblical proportions.
No, bigun nailed it earlier on why trump will win. I'd tell you to look it up but it seems that's too difficult for you so here

Non-partisan in that the GOP is the party of stupid and the left is the party of evil.

Did you say the same 5 yrs ago?
Yep. I wasn’t posting in the PF 5 years ago but yes I felt that way. I never played this “not my president” card bull ****. There’s only one. Thus of course they are the president of every citizen. I couldn’t stand his politics. Still don’t but I didn’t want to see him fail. If he fails then our country fails.

The same thing that accounts for division in WWE wrestling. You have a “baby face” vs a “ heel”. As to which one is which, it depends on the crowd and the crowd usually cheers for the one their parents cheered for.

No difference on such topics as climate, taxes, regulation, universal healthcare, UBI, abortion, free higher education, defense spending, trade, illegal immigrants. I mean I could go on with some more thought.

Their policies are the same - spend money to stay in power. Do you honestly believe more than a handful of them give a damn about you or your family?

Where did I say that? Dont forget your boy Amish was part of the Republican Party.
