Clawson to UTC?

You mean the multiple quotes by both Clawson and Fulmer that the playing calling is in Clawson's hands. When they put together the game plan Fulmer is certainly involved. But he is not calling plays on game day.

saying something and doing something are two completely different things.

if you think Fulmer is 100% hands off with the offense on game day you are naive.

You have no proof whatsoever to back your belief up.

Clawson has admitted several times over that he is in control of the offense, I know its hard to believe, but he failed that much this year.

They obviously converse on the headset throughout the game. But Fulmer is not calling plays. He is not on the headset telling Clawson "make this play call" and that has been stated multiple times by all parties involved.

i believe everything i hear too.

neither do you. and that, is the point.

I at least have something to go on. Clawson, Fulmer and the entire staff have said since day 1 that Dave is making the calls. Fulmer talks back and forth on the radio during the game but he is not calling the plays, because if he were there would be ALOT more running plays called.

Where have you heard different? Please inform me where you heard that Fulmer is calling the plays and holding the football genius back.

no, the point is, which you missed the first time, is neither of us has any clue what goes on during the game.

coach speak is just that, coach speak. they tell you what you think you want to hear or what they want you to hear.

i was hoping by making an idiotic claim that you would see how idiotic your claim was. i guess i shouldn't hold my breath huh?

Mike your efforts are futile.. Posters like Doozer are right even when wrong. Afterall, this could have all been solved with a little more time in the film room.

or in your case, actually watching and paying attention to football in general.

So your support for Clawson has led you to call him a blatant liar? He has never dodged the question about whether he calls plays. He has never answered in a way that left his remark open-endeded. He has said unequivocally that he calls 100% of the plays on game day. He is just a liar huh?

And, by the way, we have no evidence that Superman doesnt exist so surely he does right? That logic is very flawed. We only have evidence that shows us one thing, that Clawson calls plays.

He has a good track level at smaller schools...the offense was to vanilla and we just don't have the talent at QB to run his offense, no offence...

his track record...
took a major hit this year, we only have to drop 5 more spots and we'll be the absolute worst D1 offense in the entire country

Fulmer said himself earlier this season that he is overruling him about 30% of the time. That tells me it is probably much more than that, maybe 50%.
Clawson built a pretty good team in Richmond and didn't leave because he had to, he was moving up somewhere, I just don't think he ever had control. The only reason Cut did was he is close with Fulmer and also his direct peer in age and experience. Fulmer was smart enough to listen to him, not Clawson!

Growing up splitting time between there & Nashville from '69 - '77. I was just a bit down from the coal plant on Hwy 149.
By coal plant I am assuming you mean TVA? I live around 15 mins from there. Glad to meet someone from the same part of the woods...

Clawson proved early on, he wasn't an effective play caller see UCLA

At UTC, there's only two directions the program can go: abandonment or up. To be truthful, they did win one game this year so, I guess it actually could get worse.
