Why not? I’m a Republican but have some friends that are Democrats. And they’re not just left of center either. We even talk politics at times but we respect each other and acknowledge that not every issue is a binary choice. We certainly don’t agree on everything but who does? They know that Trump does some things well just like I know there are things Trump doesn’t do well. There is middle ground if we will stop listening to the noise from CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, and others. Instead of listening to them we should listen to each other and discuss issues like reasonable adults. Then again, it can be fun to do some stirring of the pot on here from time to time, isn’t that right Sep?

The original . Specifically when they have the one demon chained in the basement and it’s shaking the door trying to get out , while the chick in the doorway jams a #2 pencil in her ankle and says .. “ we’re gonna get you , we’re gonna get you “ . Shiver ! Just shoot it in the head already .

Great classic horror movie. The remake wasn’t bad actually but just not quite the same. However, if you like brutal gore and demonic possession then the remake is solid as they stayed very true to the original story. There’s just something about those 80s special effects that I love though.

That’s probably when I realized my feelz were different than other people’s . I’m telling you now , if we are in a cabin in the woods and you start stabbing yourself with a #2 pencil singing we’re gonna get you over and over while your demon friend is trying to get out of the basement ... our friendship or what was our friendship is not going to keep me from shooting you in the face . I feel like people should know this about me before we go on vacations. 😂

What makes Dr. Fauci a moron? His credentials are hard to undermine, and Trump has at least thought enough of him to keep him on the White House's coronavirus task force up until now. Every professional opinion which I have read, does expect there to be a second surge of this virus in the fall. Are they all morons because they aren't saying what you want to hear?

The real question and it doesn’t have to include any politics whatsoever is .. how long are we willing to wait ? Keeping in mind that everyday , every week and month we stay sheltered we are flattening another curve .. the economic curve . We don’t have food reserves like we have oil reserves , sooner or latter that’s going to make itself known .

This is a moment where I'd really love for people to screw their heads on straight, check their biases, and seek clarity for making these decisions. I see nothing at this point that suggests LA needs to keep lockdown orders through August. Of course we will ease into this, and cities do have to be (or rather, should be) particularly careful, but by and large we can move back*. We are seeing deaths / day drop in a solid fashion (and this means cases/day has been dropping for a while - regardless of what ramped up testing protocols and focusing on hot-spot outbreaks says about new cases / day. Seeing those lawmakers with their mask on in the hearing and then face-to-face talking without them is so frustrating. This isn't a game.

*I recognize that there will be lives lost by doing this. The threat isn't past us...but we have done a lot of work on the numbers and we have a window that is opening up to let the hammer off a bit and see how much we can open up. At this point, I'm largely resigned to the fact there will be number of deaths (unless this thing just evolves its way into no longer being a threat - or temperature takes care of it, etc). The key is just to not overwhelm our medical systems and incite real panic (not policy panic).
