Out of all the games I’ve been to the Oklahoma game was the best atmosphere I’ve ever been in. It was my then girlfriend’s first live Tennessee game and she was blown away by it. She couldn’t hear for two days.

I was there with some of my college friends who were from Oklahoma. They couldn't believe how loud it was. F U Butch for choking the game away

Also, at the time, I dont think any of us saw it, but the loses to Ga St and BYU were blessings in disguise. Sometimes you have to hit rock bottom before you get to the top
It's easy to say we should have been 10-3, and we definitely could have, but I wonder if the team would have rallied in the way they did and dug down deep in some of those games down the stretch had they not taken those haymakers early.

The game in Norman was the first Vol foray for my then girlfriend now wife...diehard VFL afterwards.

Exactly. The players and coaches learned more in those loses than they ever could in any win.

Still don’t see it. Made us appreciate it after the turnaround, but those are some bad times.

They were awful times. But failure is a powerful teacher. We were staring down the barrel at 2-10 or 3-9 after those two games and finished 8-5. Gotta credit the coaches and players for digging down deep and turning things around.

Loudest, non Neyland game I've been to (in a while)...FL 2001. I'm not talking about Gator fans either. TN fans were so obnoxiously loud, you would have thought it was a home game. AAAANNNND...Rocky Top? Oh yeah, it was so sweet to hear (through the roar of the crowd) that night. My ears were still ringing when I left the Swamp.

I will however say (promised some FL fans I always would)...the fans I talked to after the game were very gracious in defeat. They knew we had beat them handily, even if the score didn't show it. I was even invited to a gator house (didn't know them) after the game. I went and had a good time...albeit I didn't try to rub it in too much while I was there. On their behalf though, I didn't have to. People (FL Fans) came up to me all night telling me how amazing that TN team was that night.

Oh, to see that level of Tennessee performance again. Pruitt and co. keep this up, though, and it's inevitable that we will.

I'm not sure if that's good or bad, Hayden would have been somewhere between 16-20 during 2005-2009 lol

Honestly don't keep up with "hot actresses/models" much these days. Aging changes the taste I guess I'm more attracted to older and talented actresses more nowadays.

Like Meryl Streep?

That game was crazy loud! I took a buddy of mine who had never been to a big-Time game like that, and he couldn’t believe how loud it was. We were under the overhang too, which made it even louder. 2013 UGA game was rocking too. @Sugaray13 and I went to that one, and it was so loud, the stadium was shaking and the players looked blurry because we were shaking so much. No, we don’t drink, so we weren’t drunk.
