Hoping all these guys connect like last year and stick to their commitments. We had a big summer in recruiting last year, and even after the debacle we had to start the season we held onto pretty much everyone that mattered. Only lost Lovie Jenkins and Ojulari (who was always just waiting on a green light from UGA or LSU).

It helped having alphas and leaders like Lawrence, Mays, Baron (he actually commited in June), Hyatt and Bailey in the fold. We will need guys like that this year as well.

Ojulari committed on my birthday and I will never forgive him for decommitting & flipping to LSU. Kid was star struck by their moment and momentum like most kids do. But I just cannot like him now. I wanted him to be here badly.

Just an FYI... Doing some math, 247 is using a score of .70 on Darrell Jackson, for the average recruit ranking, since he is not rated on the composite.

If you use a ranking of .8700, as he is ranked on 247, our actual average recruit ranking is .8830.

Expect recruiting bumps for Roc Taylor, Jaylen Wright, and Isaac Washington at a minimum.

Episode Two of The Slice with Trey Smith was awesome, by the way.

Peyton, EB, and now Trey have been and will be great ambassadors of our program. Dobbs, too, but the aforementioned three are just on another level in talent and exposure.

Yeah I expect a big step back from LSU this season.

At first I thought their talent would help them stay solid, even with losing Burrow. But all the players drafted/lost and all the staff about to be a bad time. Good on them for at least winning the year everything fell into place though.

The Athletic's NFL Draft guy put out a mock of the first round of the 2021 draft. Trey Smith was our only first rounder going mid-way through the first.

I looked at 3 mock '21 NFL Drafts, today and all 3 had Trey going in the 1st round and 2 had Cade Mayes also going in the 1st

Trask is no good with pressure on him. As long as we have a better pass rush this year, Trask will not be effective.

Certainly not elite, but wasn't terrible either. Ranked ~50th nationally and 3rd in the SEC under pressure by pff. Main thing in our game is we had ZERO pressure. That was the worst DL game by far, but we won't see anything like that this year.

Know who was dead last? Mac Jones. God I hope he fends off the true fr and we eat him alive.
