Two ways to get separation. Speed and physicality. Both are good but need some of each. 4.7 with Jennings physicality and he will be fine. 4.3 speed that gets knocked to the ground in press coverage won’t be.
Amazing nfl fans and analysts can't see this.

JJ gonna teach em

One JJ analysis says he can't get separation.

I swear that is all he did last year and he has improved immensely in that regard. One head fake or dead leg and he found a couple yards to catch easily. I thought he was easily the best on the team at getting separation using moves.

Palmer was very good at times but that could have been a result of JJ and Callaway drawing attention.

From Feldman in The Athletic - post draft comments

"The hottest pursuit for Orgeron was a massive five-star DT from Texas named Marvin Wilson, who ended up signing with Florida State and has gone on to a standout career. Wilson’s signing with the ‘Noles cast a bit of a dark cloud over Orgeron’s signing day press conference an hour later. But that LSU signing class, which was ranked No. 7 nationally, already has four first-rounders with K’Lavon Chaisson, Patrick Queen, Justin Jefferson and Clyde Edwards-Helaire, and only Chaisson was considered a hyped recruit at the time. It wouldn’t shock me if there is another first-rounder or two in the pipeline from that class with safety JaCoby Stevens and defensive tackle Tyler Shelvin."

Keep that in mind when the poor mouthing starts that we are only 'whatever' ranked in recruiting in our own conference.

Sigh JaCoby Stevens

That's a big deal when you go into Alabama's back yard and take their highest rated guy. About time we take a dump in their front yard instead of the other way around all the damn time, feels good!

Appreciate your optimism but I will bet this one is a long way from being done. bama, Auburn and LSU are after this guy.

Is there anyone that has followed recruiting for a while that does not understand the difference between a committment and a signee? Of course the coaches will have to keep recruiting a committment until they sign. And the higher they are rated the more you have to keep fighting. Today we got a 5* committment. That means others will want to join him. We will have to fight to keep them while fighting to steal from other teams.
