I’d rather have a lock
He doesn’t have the quickness and foot speed that Dobbs had at UT. Dobbs knew that he could get out of pressure with his feet if needed. But, JG has a better arm in terms of strength and accuracy. If he’s asked to throw it on a spot on the field for the WR to go get, he excels at that. Obviously, playing QB is much more than that, and that’s is problem, he can adapt, improvise and overcome when things break down.

Would’ve missed a lot...and a season if he’d have gotten his way. You’re well aware that we’re talking off-season of a coaching change. He wasn’t IMMEDIATELY reinstated. If he’d have approached Pruitt with the “bit** a** n*****s” tag line, he’d have been gone. He didn’t, sold himself as contrite and accountable, and worked like a dog until Pruitt adopted him. As Vols fans, we should be happy how it worked out.He miss any games?
