Not sure that pressure was/is exactly the right term here. I think Brees has lost a step, maybe 2. Point is the problem hasn't been scoring for the Saints. It is stopping the other teams from scoring. Drafting 2 centers back to back doesn't exactly scream brilliance to me, but that's just my opinion. Maybe they don't resign Warford and plan to move one of these 2 centers to guard, that's the only explanation I have for drafting a center this year when we clearly need better defensive players.

Personally I don't see it as disappointing. I see it as well, just OK. Wilson will not help much this season, but long term he is a big win if they sign Henry long term. He fits what they are trying to do on O. But as far as winning it all this season - nope. The D has a couple of holes that need immediate help. Maybe it will go better today.

I've learned J-Rob and Vrabel have their way of doing things that isn't always as it appears.

Ruiz has played a lot of G. He started half of last season at G IIRC.

Initially, I felt the same. Ruiz will be groomed to play both C and G. This gives us versatility and the opportunity to deal Larry Warford for additional draft picks should the opportunity arise. I was hoping to nab Kenneth Murray, but the Chargers blocked it.

Patrick Queen and Jordyn Brooks was still on the board after Murray. I just hope they go defense heavy for the rest of the draft. With the exception of maybe, JJ.

OK - as a Titans fan - a straight up full Titan wut?! may happen. Zierlein of the NFL Network, who was right on Wilson yesterday, has J-Rob/Vrabel picking QB Eason at pick #61. My first impulse was to laugh, then I remembered it is the Titans. He's got Missy State's CB Dantzler being selected in the 3rd. Can live with that one.

Glennon and Rexrode of The Athletic have a CB for #61 - which makes more sense.

I’ve seen crazier things. There have been a few Vols in the last decade who didn’t get drafted who thought they were in, but Jennings should be drafted.

Still mad about the draft. Falcons need to can Dimitroff and he should have been fired years ago. We are falling further and further behind NO and Tampa...
