Cool place (in more than one way). Energy independent. Attacked COVID in interesting ways. My son got accepted to a graduate program there, so he'll be relocating there is the fall. I plan to visit.

Missed my point completely. Free sterile needles and syringes syringes were readily available however not utilized. Therefore, my conclusion was that those useres hurt others regardless of the legality. Legalize may mean more get hurt... won’t know until we change the laws.

Record breaking # of homeless in Colorado and increased crime rates since legalized marijuana...I could be mistaken, but seems to indicate a problem.

Also, since marijuana has been legalized in multiple states, researchers have found more harm than previously known. Also many fewer benefits to the medical uses are noted.

Marijuana does absolutely nothing for glaucoma. Myth busted.

marijuana stunts brain maturation in <25 year old if used more than 10 times per month consistently. Myth busted.

Legalization does allow for new medical research, so I guess that’s a plus...

I don’t actually care either way. However, I don’t want to have to pay for the consequences either way either.

I do know that it won’t be solved on VN, despite the incredible power that we have here!

The people that moved to Colorado for the legalized marijuana couldn’t actually afford to live there so homeless...sorry if that wasn’t clear.

Yes, there are plenty of medical uses for marijuana.

I was just pointing out that it’s not harmless as touted by many legalized advocates. Also many of the medical uses approved in California, Oregon, and Washington have been proven as not helped by marijuana usage...

I really didn’t want to be part of this war for/against drugs, so I am bowing out.

I will leave with a funny story. A coke head that I knew in college was a chemistry major. When he graduated, gues who he got a job with? The DEA. Guess what his job was? Testing the quality of the confiscated cocaine. Ironic as it gets. They tested him for cocaine on arrival to work and just prior to leaving work every day! He could no longer do coke.
He said that he missed it, but enjoyed the extra money more! Lol

Exactly. We got WGN on cable when I was in the 7th or 8th grade and I watched a lot of Cubs games in the afternoon when I got home from school and in the summer.
