Fort Bragg is huge. Just thought that I would check. My cousin is Brigadier General Jeff Scoggins.

Had a senior blonde moment. Jeff Lay is also my cousin, but never in the military. Oops.

I don’t know him. I’ve met a lot of Generals in person. Thanks to working for a Full Bird Colonel directly for over a year before I got out.

4 Star General John Nicholson Jr.

4 Star General Richard Clarke... who is an absolute beast at PT btw he straight up demolished my Platoon in PT.

Major General Michael Kurilla

4 Star General Mark Milley current Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff

I’m sure I’ve met others that I don’t remember probably some Colonels that are now Generals. But it was a good career. Now my current career is better though.

And you still think prescription drugs are worse than meth and that meth should be legal? That’s insanity

drug war is an abomination and anyone that thinks it's been a success in insane and has their head buried in the sand. Spend those billions on education and treatment. It's not hard except for...people like you.

Also have you not witnessed what prescription drug abuse has done to this country? I'd say it's worse than meth. For sure.

Yes, people like me... or people like you who have witnessed a man destroy his life and still want the very drug that did it to become legal, and therefore more widespread, so that more people have access to it so that more lives are destroyed. But yeah, people like me..

I'm not even going to waste my time with you today. Have a good one.

One of my best friends was, lost his marriage, his home etc. It being illegal sure didn't stop him. Next question.

I don’t necessarily disagree with your stand on the decriminalization of certain drugs. However, meth should definitely be the exception. Mainly because the manufacture of it can be so hazardous and pose such a risk to a community. You might as well let a feller try to enrich uranium in his bathtub.

Why not? Just legalize everything!! Who cares about how it destroys lives, families, communities, the lives of children, etc. just legalize it all so that more people will have access to it! What will it hurt? Who cares if little children are neglected by their parents because both are hooked on meth? Make it legal!

If the same folks that pushed the anti-tobacco campaign staring in the late 90’s were to push a similar anti-drug campaign, it would be met with similar success.

Notice I said certain drugs.

they need to do away with spring practice anyway. It makes no sense. All of your team isn’t even there and you have 15 practices then take a 4 month break. Move it to summer so the newbies can enroll in summer and participate.

I agree. Modify it for summer to get everybody in and have an almost continuous run at getting into and keeping players in football shape. It would probably help the students academically for that spring semester as well.

Meth is already legalized. Desoxyn is prescription Methamphetamine. It’s just one is made in a lab and another is made is a trailerpark
And some, who shall remain unnamed I guess, want the one made in the trailer park that is destroying families to be legal. Also heroin while we’re at it. Why not?

No one is saying prescription drug abuse isn’t serious. But to say hey, prescription drugs are legal therefore legalize it all is lunacy

I’m all for marijuana legalization Bc of the revenue and jobs it would create. Meth, heroine, all that stuff hell no. But the prescription drugs like xanex, adderral, and percs are getting way out of hand.

I agree that prescription drug use is out of control and we need to find a way to curtail it. The answer is not to make all drugs legal.

I don’t think it’s whether the substance is legal or not that’s the issue. The worst drug crisis in history is going on right now with pain meds which are legal. I think we have to find a way to treat the people with substance issues. Whether it’s labelled legal or illegal doesn’t really matter they are still gonna abuse it.

This last sentence is not true. The reason why prescription drug use is bad is because people have access to it. Far less people have access to meth. If we legalize meth or heroin, then it becomes much more accessible and therefore much more will use and become addicted. They are extremely addictive and destructive. So to say that it doesn't matter if they are legal or illegal is simply wrong.
