I'm still 100% convinced the COVID was here long before the pandemic. I'm also pretty sure it's already gone through Tennessee or at least East Tennessee
Yeah the numbers are really low and creeping up . I know a few people around the first of December were really sick but tested negative for flu and strep.

Social Distance: Brady Quinn remembers 2004 win at Tennessee

"My sophomore year, we had to go down to Knoxville, Tenn. for basically a night game," Quinn said. "It was a 4:00 or 5:00 p.m. kick, but it got dark there pretty quick. It was as loud of an environment as I've ever been around. To get out of there with a win, and I had an uncle who played ball at Kentucky ... so that was a huge rivalry for him. They drove down from Lexington, Kent. How excited he was. How excited we were. That was one I'll never forget. My center, John Sullivan, turned around at one point and gave me a look. After that series, I went off to the sidelines. I was like, 'What are you trying to say?' He said, 'The ball was moving. I swear to you, it was so loud, the ball was moving on the ground during third down.' Literally, our tackles couldn't remember anything I was saying. We tried to go silent count, but it was tough."

Ok I have a beef with these numbers we look at every day, instead of total cases shouldn't we be just concerned with active cases? For example I saw 15 in Anderson county but 9 have recovered one died so it's actually only 5 active. Really makes it looks worse than it is.
Only something like 37 active in Knox county

You are totally correct. I maintain a graph of new cases vs active as a percentage of active cases. Nerd.

Also, we had the most pediatric flu deaths this season in over a decade. Wonder if Coronavirus.......
I’m going to leave this here and use your post to drop the information, since you are alluding to it indirectly… Had a client, who works for the CDC, agree with me today when I said I think COVID 19 has been here longer than the authorities will admit. The person also said a certain doctor and his organization apparently contributes millions to a certain major lab in China to do research on coronavirus. This same doctor is apparently strongly connected with Bill Gates, too. A lot of fishy stuff going on, IMO. I’ll let y’all connect the dots or do the math.

Outside of "bagmen", why has UGA become such an elite recruiting school? Is it facilities? Tradition? Coaching?

Assuming we have the same record every year, could we get to their level with what we have? Could we be a regular top 3 recruiting school?

Easy to recruit in such a talent-rich state. They'd have to try really hard to have an off year.

Absolutely. We have everything top programs have. Just have to start winning consistently.

That's ma'am.

This chart is from FluView. Shows 188 two years ago.

Recent success and strong showings in the NFL draft are the top two factors in recruiting. Relationships third, sometimes distant third. Geography and all that other stuff are just tie breakers.
