Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

I'm not overly concerned with it.
I don't really care if they put a temporary ban on it and start immediately notifying employers the names of the employees that test positive.
I've consistently supported the concept that some individual rights may have to be scaled back a tad during this time for the sake of society at large.

Sort of like an employer telling a sick employee not to come to work, even if that employee feels willing and able, for the sake of the company as a whole.
Private business can do that. Governments cant.

My company isnt going to throw me in jail for working.

Ignorance Inebriation is bliss. Wisdom Sobriety is folly.

I'd prefer to be drunk, but apparently that's frowned upon with liver transplant patients. You'd think they'd at least let me use weed, but those damn TN laws won't let that happen either.

A company might fire someone who knowingly exposes his fellow co-workers.
My point is the rationale of the company can be extrapolated.

If you catch corona, and it starts to get serious, would you ask to try these drugs?
Hate to burst LGs bubble chloroquine is part of every pt who is suspected of having covid 19 med regimen where I'm at and apparently in the current suggested as front line drugs by the cdc to infectious disease doctors in Virginia.

Or you could say we are saving thousands of lives by paying a temporary financial price.
Temporary lol. Are the trillions going away? Are people going to receive a month ish of back pay? Are all jobs going to come right back whenever the government decides we can leave our cells?

We reacted to a temporary immediate problem by going with a permanent later problem. Both ways are hugely negatively impacting lives.

You are just playing the long game hoping this is as bad as it could be to justify your current responses. Because if it isnt I hope you are fine telling people you ruined their lives for the next cyclical disease.

LG is used to having his bubble burst. Doesn't stop him from living in denial.

That's why they should be staying 6 feet a part and/or wearing masks.

not what we were discussing . Tested vs untested . The amount of untested people right now , not knowing one way or another is incredibly high . How many Drs and nurses are we testing and what good is it actually doing ? Our test result are coming back now anywhere from 5 mins to weeks . I was told the ones here are 3 days now .

A company should be able to fire whoever it wants. A government shouldnt be able to fire whoever it wants.

One I can voluntarily join and get paid to participate in. The other I am forced to take part in while held at gun point to pay into the system that holds the gun.

Do you care to elaborate on your vaccine post earlier. I thought you were being sarcastic, others stated that as per your previous posts you are anti-vaccine?

Look at India and their polio vax studies with the gates foundation. Good place to start. We now have syndromes becoming apparent that we are causing damage by playing God with vaccines.
Polio was eliminated in the US over 25 years ago and you're condemning a vaccination of it? Do you want to go back to having kids getting polio again?

I'm still pissed that I got that polio vaccination in the early 60's. I also enjoyed the measles and mumps when I was a kid too!

I’ve had measles, mumps and chicken pox and then I still had to have the vaccines for school. I think I’m safe on those three🥴

Personally I think there is a big difference in a vaccine that deals with an untreatable, incurable, life altering disease, vs a vaccine that deals with a disease that is largely handled by some OTCs and a week of fluids are some major jumps of appropriateness.
