Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Not by a long shot. The ink wasn't dry and we were already hearing it wasn't enough.

I have no idea how much debt load America can handle but with each spending bill I get more convinced we are at the edge of the cliff.
Debt is so cheap right now, if you’re going to take it on now’s the time to do it.

When I say Trump, you say Pelosi. TRUMP! PELOSI! TRUMP! PELOSI!

It's funny that the most common refrain when confronted with Trump's failings is to hear some complaint about <insert democrat here>.

New York is the major focal point in the US (for good reason). In early March Cuomo said,
"no reason for undue anxiety" "The general risk to New York remains low".

And Dr Fauci whom many have propped up as "the guy" (some because he and Trump haven't always been lock step and it makes for good negative Trump media, others because he would be the guy) to listen to said this on Jan 21.
“This is not a major threat to the people of the United States and this is not something that the citizens of the United States should be worried about right now,”
I don't think Dr Fauci has political leanings that cloud his opinion in any way, but those are pretty strong words just days before travel from China was banned. He didn't even leave the door open to it possibly becoming an issue.

Reality is, the federal government wasn't prepared. Our state and local governments were not prepared.

There comes a point where a lot of people misjudged how it would take hold in this country. There are a lot of citizens that still don't think much of it today. Politicians and Drs can't save you from yourself.

Yes the data shows it is a coincidence. Your kids should be vaccinated also

My kids will continue to get the flu shot. They do not have a choice because of Mom. They also have gotten other recommended vaccinations as well which i completely agree with.

If they continue getting the flu shot everywhere and subsequently getting the flu I am pretty sure we will be looking for a change.

Who knows it may not work well for certain immune systems.

When you consider the fact that he started with $413m, he actually isn't a great investor. Passively investing that money in the stock market (I know he wasn't given $413m in cash that he could have immediately put all in the market, but the principle still holds) since the early 80s would have yielded him much more than his current net worth, which supposedly is something like $3 billion. He's made 7-8x his money in about 40 years. The S&P is up almost 22x since 1980.

He certainly knows a hell of a lot more about business and the real world that other politicians, but his own track record on real estate investing is very mixed - he's had some stuff do really well and some stuff fail rather spectacularly, particularly his big miscalculation with his Atlantic City casinos.
How many jobs has he provided?

How would you describe Pelosi's leadership when urging people to come out to Chinatown in mid-February? Also incompetence?

Resorting to 'whataboutism" is a tacit acknowledgement that Trump moved the goalposts and has misinformed the Country from the start. Thank you for making my point. What's next, blaming it on Hillary's e-mails?

I see the hand wringing here about how much Trump's properties are making off taxpayers on his golfing trips. I wonder how many (if any) he actually owns and how many he licensed his name? He no more owns everything "Trump" than George Lucas owned my Star Wars lunch box.
If LG could only get his tax returns...…………...

So the guy who tests positive can go to work, but his co-workers would need to self-quarantine to avoid him?
There is something a little backwards in your logic.
I would have no issue working alongside someone who tested positive. But I also have immunocompromised folks in my household.
