hog88 doesn't like Tejas for some reason. Other than being a scorching hell 9 months out of the year, I don't have a problem with Texas.
Having spent about 30 out the last 40 years of my life in the Houston area, I have become somewhat acclimated.

But every so often I still tell my wife "Let's move somewhere that has mountains" but she's as stubborn as a mule and won't live anywhere that gets snow.

She grew up just outside of Minsk.

I live in Eugene OR. I guess what the question/assumptions might be are that people with less money aren't taking precautions. This could also be an education factor. Speculating that people who are making less money are less educated as well. Again it's speculation or just maybe a suspicion. Thoughts you'd like to share?
No just that again we don’t care what leftist states do

Minsk Arkansas? I've been there before.

Food City like a downhome homeboy. So do you have a favorite grocery store that you shop at that pigeon holes you?

Food City is more expensive than Kroger here in Knox, and for no real reason.

I usually hit Mexican mercados, a couple of butchers, and the farmers market for produce. I don't cook terribly often enough to fully stock my home (until now, that is).

No doubt there is a correlation in there.

On the other hand, I tried to give my wife one of my few remaining 3M, N95 masks yesterday (used to buy them in boxes of 10 on Amazon, last time was about a year ago) to wear on her grocery outings, but she's like "No, we need them at the warehouse [for when we drum catalysts that are quite dusty], you keep it."

And she's way smarter than me. (Fortunately, in a lower risk category as well.)

You don’t need N95s for random travel
