Nope...that might be why we might have a tougher time with the curve...although it looks like Washington state has really turned it around...they have been slipping down the list for days nowCoronavirus: How Long Will Social Distancing Last?
Interesting read. However, no place, especially America can just turn every facet of life on and off like a faucet.
If I got to reset my study every few days it would be right every few days....but there is something deeply flawed in this study...Alabama has under 200 ppl in the hospital but in 12 days they are projected to need 30k beds...at a 20% hospital rate...which is high 30,000/X=20/100 they would need to have 150k casesThe IHME model will be updated tomorrow with the latest data. I think it’s updated every few days. I will be interested to see where the predictions stand then.
Thats crazy that a hospital...how has to have infection control committee doesst have a policy both for the state and for TJC....Tennessee has tested a good percentage but they also have 2.5 million more residentsNot sure about today but as of yesterday evening Tennessee had literally tested 26000 more people than Alabama. And Huntsville hospital didn’t even have a masking policy! View attachment 269888View attachment 269889Huntsville-area hospitals still working out employee mask policy
The lines will put people in close proximity and make them more likely to catch the virus. Absolutely stupid move.Walmart and Target begin limiting # of customers allowed in stores today. Get ready to see COSTCOesque lines on your local news. Grocery chains will probably follow within a few days. Also, Nashville Parks took down all tennis nets on public courts. You're welcome.
