Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

or you could blame yourself for believing it.

For believing that Hills is vile, despicable and reprehensible? Well, that’s pretty much common knowledge to anyone with functional grey matter.

Or for believing that Trump was the lesser of two evils? That’s obviously a matter of personal opinion for everyone, although when objectively looking at both of them it’s clear which candidate had blood on their hands and had violated security protocols and which candidate had not.

What are the workers that work the fields now going to do?

They can't get into the country. The processing of their work VISAs has been delayed by COVID-19. I saw a story this morning on CBSN that said we will have a significant amount of crops rotting in the field soon if we don't get pickers lined up. I have a feeling we are going to be in desperate need of all the food we can get.

The stay at home orders need to be coming from the governors of each state.

Sure, but where is the consistency in messaging from the high-profile daily briefing? Trump could say "it needs to be done now"... it doesn't have to be an executive order to relay the message. He throws his "unofficial" opinion around Twitter all the time.

An argument could be made. It looks like we already have it: BOP: Work Programs

They get paid virtually nothing, I’m sure some of them would be happy to work the fields for $10.00/hr.
Have you ever picked tomatoes? It sucks balls. If my choice was stay inside in the prison AC or get $10/hr to do that I think I’d pick AC.

I think Trump's response, or lack thereof, was pathetic and cost American lives, but what good does a taskforce do. Seems like a silly use of much needed resources to me. Both sides need new leadership as Pelosi and McConnell have both outlived their usefulness on the Hill.
You should be in the circus..... a sheep talking out of its ass

It Trump says anything other than it’s up to each state, there will be a feeding frenzy of screaming from rooftops that he’s overriding state’s rights and pushing for federal martial law, which only makes things more difficult for everyone.

I think he’s really trying hard to avoid having to do that but I also don’t think it’s completely crossed out of the federal playbook as a Hail Mary if states fail at it.

My point was, Trump could say "The CDC says it needs to be done, now". How many times has Trump used Twitter to say that something needs to be done, now? It isn't a command, it's an opinion or strong suggestion. But yeah, he's hiding from backlash that would ensue if he made the plea.

It's not needed in every state at this time.
