Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

So Trump should be concerning himself with trolling them? What is this, second grade?

I’m no fan of the media with all this either, but as the boss, Trump should rise above it. If he is concerning himself with poking them in the eye then that should be an issue to everybody, right and left.

Why can’t the media just report what needs to be reported and nothing more, and why can’t the POTUS be a grown-*** adult about it?
They have spent 4 years calling him everything you can think of and accusing him of the most absurd stuff. They really should just be ignored

In the entirety of the history of humanity, never has there been a person who spoke so much and said little of any value than Mike Pence. My God, its just one vague promise followed by four platitudes, kissing Trump's ass, followed by another empty platitude.

Sounds more like jealousy to me.

They spend 24 hours a day telling us how doomed we all are which causes panic among the people and weak politicians
Dr. Anthony Fauci, who is a leading expert on infectious diseases and a member of the White House's coronavirus task force has estimated that between 100,000 and 200,000 Americans could die as a result of COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus. Is the media over-hyping it anymore than that? That is a pretty incredible estimate, and coming from an expert in the field, that is bound to create greater alarm than any conjecture or commentary that a journalist could give.

I have no idea where he came up with such a large number, based on the models, but that is what Dr. Fauci said. I think you are blaming too much on the media, in this case.

Calif. Gov. Newsom tells CNN Trump has been 'responsive' to state's needs: 'I'd be lying' to say otherwise

California Gov. Gavin Newsom commended President Trump for his tentativeness to the Golden State's needs amid the coronavirus outbreak, saying he'd be "lying" if he said otherwise.

During an interview on Wednesday, Newsom was pressed by CNN anchor Jake Tapper about whether the governor's public praise for Trump was all in order to prevent him from "punishing" his state.

"I've talked to officials around the country who have said that they have to temper their remarks in what they say about the federal government's response for fear that President Trump will punish the citizens of their state if he considers them to be a complainer," Tapper said. "You and President Trump seemed to have been working collaboratively. He praised you yesterday. Do you find yourself, by necessity, tempering what you say in terms of any issue you might have with the federal response?"

Newsom pointed to Trump's assistance in the wildfires and droughts California has previously faced.

Calif. Gov. @GavinNewsom: “Let me just be candid with you. I’d be lying to you to say that [Trump] hasn’t been responsive to our needs. He has. And so, as a question, as a sort of an offer of objectivity, I have to acknowledge that publicly."

I voted for Kasich in the primary, his actions and words since has made me regret that vote.

Fun fact: Did you know his dad was a mailman?
What are those words and actions? I haven't followed him much since '16, but really liked him at the time.

Why do we need a national quarantine when governors and mayors are issuing stay at home orders? The federal government does not have to handle everything. Governors are capable of dealing with their states, and mayors are capable of dealing with their cities. Why do you feel everything has to be done federally?

Because it’s a national problem. There is no virus boarder. People can’t really be this dense...
