was it a blood test or how do they test for it ?? Also when does she have since its not flu or COVID ?She was tested last friday after experiencing symptoms (fever and sore throat) they tested for flu and c-19. The results came back this morning. Idk if she was tested at the hospital or at the drs office.
Can you ask @Red13 if this looks like the pattern that she is using? And has she heard about sewing masks that have a single inner layer, allowing for a coffee filter cut to shape to be inserted?They’re actually pretty cool. They are made from a pattern issued by the cdc.
Swabbing mucous membranes is a common way to test for respiratory diseases. Strep throat, etc.
I’m sure there are more sophisticated tests (blood tests for antibodies etc), and all tests have some false positives and false negatives.
