Only the travel ban to China would argue that's not entirely true.In January and February, the Trump administration was treating the Coronavirus outbreak as a public relations problem that needed to be aggressively fought... rather than a health care crisis. They didn't shift gears until well into March.
I thought it was a great name myself...... now our whole country is Kung Flu fighting..... if this was the 70’s or 80’s someone would have already produced a parody that would be getting air time on radio
I don't consider that racist, just funny. You have a broad view of what you consider racism if it comes from the right. I doubt the same view applies to the left. But they did spend time coming up with witty racist names for it, like "Kung Flu." Are you expecting the leg-humpers to just ignore that achievement?
You're right. After it's under control people who have been just sitting st home will probably just keep doing that. No one will be hiring. No one will be spending money. Full economic collapse. There will be no roar.
And just like that you got dims to turn on snopesHe didn't call it a Hoax
Did President Trump Refer to the Coronavirus as a 'Hoax'?
What's False
Despite creating some confusion with his remarks, Trump did not call the coronavirus itself a hoax.
The source is IHME. They are a well funded research center, Bill and Melinda Gate recently gave them about $270 million to advance the work they are doing.
The Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME) is an independent population health research center at UW Medicine, part of the University of Washington, that provides rigorous and comparable measurement of the world's most important health problems and evaluates the strategies used to address them. IHME makes this information freely available so that policymakers have the evidence they need to make informed decisions about how to allocate resources to best improve population health.
