Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

So, was the office disbanded or not? Anyone can argue the same functions are being done, but the material difference is that the office dematerialized.

Was this inanimate "office" you keep blowing out your orifice responsible for pandemic response or the people of that "office"?

The AOCs of the world are proof that 'we' have forgotten.
Some of the best written work of the 20th century came from the Soviet Union.

They produced such scathing critiques of socialism, it effectively destroyed any validity the Marxist viewpoint had left. 30 years of conveniently not teaching about the Soviet Union in our schools and the atrocities commited there, and now we have people who think Lenin was a cool dude and China is a great country.

Socialism and communism is great though, just don't ask anyone who's ever lived under it!

I'm sure it was slanted but I learned a lot about the Russian people in Oliver Stone's Untold History series....they don't get near enough credit for their sacrifices in WWII

Just curious did you look at the numbers for Tennessee?

It says Tennessee will need:
18,979 beds and the state has 7,812 a shortage of 11,167 beds
2,898 ICU beds and the state has 629 a shortage of 2,269 ICU beds.
The peak is predicted to hit Tennessee April 27th (that's 27 days from today)
With an estimated 192 deaths per day at the peak
It is predicting 4,985 deaths in Tennessee from COVID19 by August 4th 2020
.
Where are these numbers coming from? Hamilton County has 250 ICU beds, Knox and surrounding counties another 300. I would think Nashville metro area has more than both of them combined and that’s not even considering Shelby or tri cities.

The fact that you think it's is something to compare is absurd. Here is the way it is with you. We talk about Trump and you compare it to something else and say he's not as bad as so and so.

So which is worse Trump's ratings comment or Obama donating his Nobel Prize money to charity? Your call.
I think what’s worse is that Obama actually received a Nobel Prize..... what a joke that was

Also to get to 200k deaths at 2% we need 10 million cases..right now there are less than 1 million globally...we would need to match our daily total today (23k) for 434 days to reach that total.
You’re assuming a linear progression. The fear is the exponential growth of infection.

Yeah but so many are claiming that's it's already that bad and the death count doesn't show that so either it's
1) The death rate is alot lower and the virus is milder but more contagious than some predicted
2) Many countries aren't being honest about their numbers already

Anybody else feel like you’re just biding time before you get sick? I’m sick and tired of this gloom and doom BS.

Some think they've had it already, but it's almost impossible to know. It'd be nice to know.

At least your not one of them 4000 navy guys stuck on the boat with 100 infected. I don't think anybody is coming to their rescue. But I'd guess most are pretty young.

What do you want us to do about that? How is that anyone’s fault?
