Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

It can't officially be called a "rona party" unless at least one confirmed infected person attends. Invite Justin. I believe he really want's to catch this thing.
That's funny but not funny at the same time.

“We underestimated this virus,” New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said at a press briefing Tuesday. “It’s more powerful, it’s more dangerous than we expected.”

I thought you were supposed to pee on it. That is what the guys did in grade school when I was stung.

As funny as that is , there was this one time that I got absolutely hammered by a hornet right on my forehead and if I thought for one second it would have helped ... 😂

Never hit by a hornet that I remember, but right in the middle of forehead must of been crazy. I used to get stung my yellow jackets in my yard mowing. Those little suckas hurt. Gassed em up when I could find them.

At first read, that is a bit disturbing. But I did some checking into this and the union does not have the masks. They found a supplier who did, and can make more, and so they are hooking them up with a distributor. So it is misleading, at best, to say the union had them and was sitting on them.

Then I saw some criticism that the masks are $5 each. Some conservative outlets saying that is 5 X mark up and criticizing the union for that. But, if you read closely, you find that the union has no role in the price or makes money off the transactions.

These are classic right wing ploys. A union goes hunting and finds a third party who has masks. They send them to a distributor. The expense is high, though the union is not receiving the money.

But that does not stop right wing bloggers from lumping the union into the rest of it -- i.e. the holder of the masks or the expense. Pretty bad journalism, if that is what you want to call it.

It was slightly off center to the right but within 10 mins it didn’t matter I looked like I had shoved a brick under my skin . I was a bee keeper for about a year and a half when I was 19ish , been stung too many times in one day to count , I’ve never had a sting hurt me as bad as that hornet did , it literally knocked me down to my knees when it hit me . Ahhh the memories lol

It’s gonna hurt .
Not me.

Partially because I work in an industry that thrives on constructive criticism, and partially because i am heartless bastard i have no problem pointing out how others are wrong.

For my industry it's the only way design gets better. We have to know it's wrong or not liked to be able to address the issue. So we want honesty.

Personally I am too lazy to generally lie or put up with lies, I can barely deal with the stuff that actually happens why make up bs, so why sugarcoat it?

One of my work reviews said my two issues were I was too sarcastic and I was too blunt. I responded "I prefer the term 'blunt force trauma' to 'blunt'".

That was not appreciated.

All this expedient research on a mask. Yet, none on the 2A. Odd
