On Monday, Max Fisher, international reporter and columnist for The New York Times, posited that Americans should stop blaming the Communist Chinese government for the coronavirus and instead take lessons from the brutally repressive Chinese Communist regime as to how to deal with it.

Fisher tweeted, “US outbreaks may be too far along for the South Korea model to work. The only thing left is the China model. It’s the only known success at subduing a full-blown epidemic. Instead of working with Beijing on finding lessons, the US is scapegoating China to deflect political blame.”

Fisher referenced Dr. Bruce Alyward, a senior adviser to the director-general of the World Health Organization, in his last tweet, which is notable as Alyward blew off a journalist who politely asked him if the WHO would consider allowing Taiwan as a member of the organization, which Communist China has opposed. Taiwan had reportedly attempted to alert the WHOto the severity of the coronavirus early on, but the WHO rebuffed their effort to offer information.

CNN’s S.E. Cupp Wants You to Stop Criticizing ‘Journalists’

One of the worst parts of dealing with the mainstream media is their incessant virtue-signaling over their supposed import. The “anchors” over at CNN are perhaps the worst in the business at that, with figures such as Brian Stelter leading the way. I guess S.E. Cupp wanted in on the action, as she’s now wanting you to stop criticizing journalists because they are on the “frontlines” or something.


When Trump attacks the media, he wants you to hate people like me. I’m fine with that. But the “media” is also thousands of reporters on the frontlines of THIS crisis and others, in war zones, refugee crises, genocides, and now COVID. Please don’t take your politics out on them.​


Of course, if journalists would like to be criticized less, they could just be better at their jobs. It makes no sense to suggest they can report and say whatever they want but that no one can respond to them. For starters, maybe repeat less Chinese propaganda during a pandemic? Or perhaps stop taking things out of context in order to push political narratives?

What in the wide world of sports does that have to do with my point? Nothing. Your laid off and he's bitching about having to drive further than normal to get a haircut.

People on Twitter are actively mocking Trump on the report that unemployment numbers could be worse than the Great Depression and that 40 million people will be unemployed... I don’t know what to make of it.

I'm not laid off, ignorant.

You're mocking people for complaining about not being able to easily access trivial services. Its wreaks of an idiocy draped in some stupid belief that all is pretty much normal other than a few inconveniences. Ask the unemployed hair cutter how normal things are.

They will be that high, but only until this 'my ego is bigger than yours' attitude from State Governors stops and employers can recall the workers
