And where is Weinstein now? (thankfully)

Ask yourself..... Which foot does that particular shoe fit?

And should we (as a country) just....... what? Accept it because he's president?

Do you really want your president to demand appreciation in exchange for...... well, anything?
Do you really want governors sewing discontent during a pandemic? And NO ONE cut them off from anything. The Michigan Governor's comments about Trump not letting vendors sell to her was false. I can see how much you hate false statements, so I expect you'll be condemning her for it soon.

There's a comment in there somewhere.....

Apparently quoting is beyond me at this point LOL

I found your post. inside my quote.

Here is where I totally disagree with you though.

This country is a business and always has been.

All countries are businesses.

The sham is the us citizen thinking we arent and that somehow we matter.

On Thursday March 26th, during a Fox News interview with Sean Hannity, President Donald Trump furthered his criticism of some select governors from the democratic party by saying that, "a lot of equipment's being asked for that I don't think they need". This was specifically in reference to New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, and followed a tirade against Washington Governor Jay Inslee and Michigan Governor Gretchen Witmer. Trump later said he felt Cuomo was requesting an unnecessary number of ventilators. "I have a feeling that a lot of the numbers that are being said in some areas are just bigger than they are going to be true," and Trump continued with "I don't believe you need 40,000 or 30,000 ventilators."

...however, during the press conference on Sunday March 29th, Yamiche Alcindor of PBS mentioned that President Trump had said that he did not believe that some governors actually needed all of the equipment which they claimed to need, Trump said, "I didn't say that." When Alcindor noted that she was quoting from the President's interview with Sean Hannity on Thursday, Trump said, "Take a look at my interview. What I want to do is if there is something wrong, we have to get to the bottom of it."

Once again, Trump is a liar.

Good grief. Trump is questioning Cuomo needs that many, not outright telling him he doesn't. And he went on to explain that by talking about 1000s of undistributed ventilators in a NY warehouse, and going from needing 10-20000 masks to 300K. If these governors are found to be hoarding shite, cut them off if they won't deal in good faith. If they are simply alarmist, it still doesn't validate their numbers and they should be questioned until production reaches a state of plenty.

And he's right, these fooking "gotcha'" games a cadre of reporters want to play. There were at least 4-5 in today's presser. And when the president moves on, shut up and sit down.

Last time I tried to sew discontent I found out that the thread just pulled through ;-)

Seriously, though..... Don't you think the president should be above crappy little "tit for tat" childishness? Or is it OK as long as he's poking libs in the eye?

Shouldn't Trump be working to pull the country together rather than calling out reporters like a big baby? The man can't stand to be asked hard questions. I hate to tell him this but that goes with the territory. Every president (in my experience) gets that. Some of 'em get pissy about it but I can't remember any of them punishing constituents for it. But that seems to be his M.O.

I'm tired of people being OK with his screwing other people simply because they don't agree with him over petty crap, much less withholding crucial aid because...... reasons?

I had hopes that he'd rise above petty "screw you-ism" but he's shown that that's not in his nature. Now, unfortunately, it may cost lives.

But, that's OK as long as they're democrat lives...... (which, by the way, he ran as when he thought it would benefit him)

The point is that Trump lied. That wasn't a "gotcha" question. Yamiche Alcindor was quoting directly from Trump's interview with Sean Hannity... but Trump still denied saying, what he said.

smh.......

Keep suckling at the teat of the man who has changed party affiliations five times in order to further himself. He doesn't care about you. He only does what he does to further himself and his product. The sooner you realize that the better off you'll be.

But as long as Trump "trolls the libs", right?

Stop with the "withholding of crucial aid" BS, unless you want to factor in the delay caused by Pelosi/Schumer liberal wish list included in the Pandemic response bill.

But "whataboutism" gets us nowhere. Actions that we have seen by the major players in all this has "left a lot to be desired." Meaning, there's is no justifying what's been happening by either side.

As far as his response to some of the questions from certain members of the press, I agree with you. I wish he wouldn't respond like he does. But as long a I am wishing, I wish the press would grow up too, instead of trying to play the "gotcha" game. I also wish the Corona Virus 19 would GTFO.

Maybe if I wish upon a star. . .

Trump will do this. When his past comments don't present him in a favorable light, he will try and revise history. It's the same premise as drawing a line on a weather forecast map with a sharpie, except with words.

Good news you tools only have over 4 more years of him. And it's rich for anyone on the left to be appalled at liars.

What about empathy from President Obama when he came off the golf course and said a few words after ISIS beheadings and then promptly finished up the back 9? Did you have a problem with that?
Whataboutisms......what about Obama? Is Obama still President? President Obama has showed compassion and empathy in way more instances than donald. Has donald even acknowledged the Doctors, Nurses, or any other first responders? Every thing is about him.
And golf? In the middle.of a pandemic, orange cheeto went golfing.

No...... the media distorts and lies all the time..... one of the things I like most about him is that he doesn’t let them push him around..... I wish he would calm down some of the tweeting but I understand why he does it..... how is screwing over constituents?

He doesn't let the media push him around, but he cries about how unfairly he's treated? Sounds like a real strong man. Maybe you need a real male role model in your life. The one you've chosen plays the victim and you think that's being strong.

I suspect that in the next two weeks you will see more than a few locales that run out and have to make choices. People will die as a direct result. Then we'll see what Dr. Birx has to say when confronted by her own words.

And then we'll see you and Trump blame Obama, CNN, the Dems, the Chinese, and whoever else is handy.

Poor China. It’s so racist to blame a country that released sickness and death on the world.

This is why the radical liberal left has no credibility. They continue to defend China and place the blame for the China virus on President Trump.

If you or any of you cohorts had 1 ounce of integrity or any type of a moral compass then you would call out out China for the cold and callous act that they committed.

Ok Volnation. I’m on here waayyy more than my posts show. But here we go...

Here’s a conundrum for you. My dad is almost 88. Mom is 81. Both with history of respiratory issues. Anyway, Dad has been the medical director of a local nursing home for the last 47 years and is still working there 20hrs a week. It’s his life calling. He refuses to stay home despite the current situation. Our county in NY just surpassed 300 cases. I’ve asked him to take a week or two “off” to see how things play out, but he won’t listen.

What do I do? Understand this is what it is and he understands and let things go? Or push to get him to stay at home??
I would write him about the danger he is putting your mother in as well as the potential burden to his family. A burden he sees every days at a nursing home.
