I disagree. Obama made substantial roads into lessening the divide.
It goes back to this concept:
Some found integration very divisive.
Some found segregation very divisive.
Some found the struggle to give women the right to vote very divisive.
Some found denying women the right to vote very divisive.
It boils down to .....what exactly is it that you find divisive?
Many people will find appropriate actions divisive.
Many people will find the absence of appropriate actions divisive.

Obama was in a position to do so much for race relations in this country, and he did nothing. The first black President. The historical significance of that was apparently lost on him. He also encouraged the further division of politics. "Elections have consequences." Imagine if he had actually tried to work with people rather than use his pen. He did nothing to integrate this country, which is what you seem to be suggesting. Like many Presidents, including Trump IMO, he forgot that he serves the people, not the other way around.

We now have 117,000.

That's what happens when you really start testing. That's how numbers go up.

At the press conference the other day when the guy from NBC asked Trump what he would say the the millions of Americans who were apprehensive or scared. Trump had an opportunity to say something, anything, a little reassuring and presidential.
Trump chose to berate the guy and his news organization.
It was stupid, it was counter productive, and it was classic horrendously and despicably Trump.
