Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Kudos for keeping the "This stuff is just the flu" schtick going for 3 months. All the while there's teens, twenty year olds, and thirty year olds, with zero preexisting conditions, fighting for their life on ventilators just like someone 80.

I have no idea what you aim to accomplish typing the same sh!t over and over to twenty people in a sub forum.
What is the stats on the young people that you mentioned dealing with this?

Luther, it seems you're okay with that divide growing as long as someone from the left is sitting in the Oval Office. Obama did nothing to narrow that divide, instead growing it wider. Did you complain then? Will you complain when the next Dem President does the same? It's not who is sitting in that office that really creates that divide. It's the partisanship that divides the nation. Neither side is even looking to bridge that divide.
I disagree. Obama made substantial roads into lessening the divide.
It goes back to this concept:
Some found integration very divisive.
Some found segregation very divisive.
Some found the struggle to give women the right to vote very divisive.
Some found denying women the right to vote very divisive.
It boils down to .....what exactly is it that you find divisive?
Many people will find appropriate actions divisive.
Many people will find the absence of appropriate actions divisive.

Blue font right? Just checking to avoid unnecessarily ridiculing you.

What would the reaction be if Obama (or any other Democrat) wanted their personal signature to be on all the checks sent out from a bipartisan bill of this importance. The right would be livid.
Talk about playing politics.

The problem here is that the dems think that they are the only ones that can decide what is appropriate.... how did Obama work to help the divide?

The headline seems to be inferring aid/supplies are being withheld from certain states. MI's governor Whitmer has made an entirely unsubstantiated claim of just that. At the same time, she is claiming MI is on the same trajectory as Italy:

“The current trajectory we’re on looks a lot like Italy,” she said in her announcement.
“If we stay our current trajectory, just like Italy, over 70 percent of our people could get infected with Covid-19. Of that seven million projected, about one million of those would be hospitalized,” she said.

Italy's case/death rate is 10.5%. In effect, Whitmer is saying up to 735,000 Michiganders could die from C19.

What utterly breathless nonsense. Not only did was she derelict in her duty to prepare her state for pandemic, she transfers blame AND tries to scare the shite out of her state.
The headline doesn't infer any such thing. It merely paraphrases what he actually said.

Oh please Dink. Open your eyes. Don’t you now see how deep the deep state is. They have the power to make this be the number one story in all of the world.

It's the liberal media's long awaited assault on a global scale. If Trump quarantines the world's most infected city it's all over. 1984: The Sequel is just around the corner.

fake news dude..they are direct deposited. Gotta be 10% smarter than the no sourced reports..

Dude..people on the left's ability to comprehend the written English language is always highly suspect. This bs Yahoo news with an incorrect headline created to get clicks is a prime example.

They wanna have it both ways. When he is obliquely racist, they want us to adhere to the specific words and not look at his obvious intent. When we adhere to the specific words in describing what he says they want us to be overly charitable and focus on maybe, possibly, in some possible world, what he was trying to say.
Yes, Trump is inarticulate. His grammar is awkward and uncomfortable to listen to. He speaks in short phrases, rather than complete sentences, which he will often repeat as though his audience may not have heard him the first time. Trump only knows 5 adjectives. Everything is either "perfect", "beautiful", "great", "terrible" or "horrible". When I listen to him, he reminds me of the kid in elementary school giving a book report on something he didn't read.

I would love it if both sides did that. I would also love it if Skittles were a cure for the virus. This is America. Politics is what we do.
What I’m referring to is that the messaging coming from Trump, and picked up by the GOP and the vast majority Trump supporters in this forum is that playing politics with this issue is very bad for the country, while doing exactly that. The vast majority of post here where someone is being called out for politicizing the issue are coming from the right. This mirrors what can be seen outside this forum. Sometimes it’s fair. Often times it’s not. They are pushing this narrative so that any and all criticism of Trump is considered invalid and strictly political.
At the same time, they’re being extremely political with their messaging on this issue. Especially Trump.
100% true....but it's been Trumps MO since the beginning of his campaign.

That's funny... but who is he really speaking to? "Lefties" don't attend his rallies. "Lefties" don't watch Fox News - which is where he conducts most of his interviews. Trump isn't trolling anyone. If his speech is less than genuine, then that is because he is dumbing it down for his intended audience. Let's not kid ourselves, though. This is how Trump speaks in his every day language. He is unrefined and lacks sophistication.

You're trolling if you expect anyone to actually believe that.

Trump has had a limited vocabulary at best long before he even thought about political office.
That's because he admittedly never reads and his TV viewing choices are not the mind expanding types.
