In fairness the media has done a great job of misrepresenting him and making absurd conclusions on his stances. Also in fairness Trump supporters don’t care what he actually says or does. He could screw their wives and they would take it as a compliment.

Media sells sensationalism and slants it in a biased fashion. It's all yellow journalism anymore. No one is satisfied with just presenting the facts and letting their viewers/readers come to their own conclusions. They all want to tell you what you should think. That certainly seems to be one narrative. I think you(and others on the left) are underselling what he has done. I also think those on the right are trying to oversell what he has done. Other than his usual running of the mouth, he's done as well as can be expected IMO.

Other than his diarrhea of the mouth, which I already noted, he has done as well as Obama, Bush, or Clinton would have done IMO. I doubt they could have done any better. No one foresaw what has happened. Lack of preparedness doesn't fall strictly on Trump, though many seem to want to play the blame game and say it does.
