Mike Leach (Texas Tech)

you called leach a genius. He's not. If he is does that make hal mumme a coaching deity?

Judging by where both men stand in the world of college football it is fair to say that Leach was the brains behind Mumme's offense.

Ask Bob Stoops what he thinks of Leach.

Guys...Get the point, Leach is doing all of this at TEXAS TECH...Not exactly a football factory out there in the middle of the desert...You get him in a place like UT with all the resources We could offer and he would flourish, What top QB wouldn''t want to play in that offense??...Seriously!

I bet if TT plays Bama or Florida in the BCS title game they won't score more than 21 points.

Well hopefully we will get to see that. Might help make a coaching decision a little bit easier.

I personally don't think we can tell for sure one way or another if Leach would be good for UT...too many variables at this point

You guys are nuts. I guarantee you Bama would hold the ball for 40 minutes while runningit straight down their throats. Florida would put so much pressure on Harrell it would be ridiculous. You'll see something similar when the play in Norman.

Whatever you want to bet. But it ain't happening cause Oklahoma will spank them in Norman.

ok, ok, thats what they said about Texas, and OK St.....Tech beat Texas, Texas beat OK......but it should be a good game.......favor to OK, cause they are playing at home...I say Tech by 10!!

They tried to blitz people tonight and he ate them up with swing passes and quick passes. They will hang right with Oklahoma!

They very well may lose in Norman. But I guarantee you they will give the Sooners all they want.

For those who do not like Leach as an option:

14 for 36 118 yds 1 TD

8 for 19 128 yds 2 TD

40 for 50 456 yds 6 TD

The stats:

UT QBs today vs. #104 Wyoming
UNC QBs today vs. #20 Georgia Tech
TXTech today (Harrell only) vs. #9 Okla St

I'll be sure to remember this in 2 weeks.

How much do you want to bet that Oklahoma beats TT in 2 weeks?Posted via VolNation Mobile

Leach has become my #2 option. As long as he would bring in a VERY strong defensive coach, that would be a great team to watch.

Comparing Okie St. D to Florida or Bama's is laughable.

After watching TT tonight I think that is a mute point. Most times he only needs about 1-2 seconds to do much of his quick stuff and that was good for 4-5 yards everytime. When you drop back in coverage he has you for 20 everytime. I don't care how good a defense is or isn't, if you can do what you need in 1-2 seconds there simply is no stopping that offense.

And Bama can have the ball for 40 minutes and get there 21 points when TT has it for the other 20 with 50 points.
