In the same boat my friend. I walk around a different empty restaurant every day. I am haunted by the missing employees faces. The missing guests. They need me in my restaurants working until we hopefully recover. But it’s like working in a morgue. I come home depressed every day. Being away from them is easier. I am working on my days off and can mentally handle the numbers. But in the business it’s the saddest thing I have ever seen.Still employed for the time being, we supply manufacturers, very, very few are still running. They are doing some maintenance at their facilities and we still have the water and electrical utilities and highway departments are still running bare bones so there is a little business. We are dead at work though, nothing to do, I can't believe they haven't let me go yet. I count myself fortunate when so many others are without at this stressful time.
The problem becomes you're talking about amputation over a splinter. Luther logic is astoundingly selfish. It seems you're okay with people suffering if it costs Trump another four years. Four years, luther. You can't wait out four years without wishing ill will on others? One side or the other is always going to be dissatisfied with who sits in the Oval Office, but most people aren't going to hope for suffering to get that person out. Your degrees and continuums are out of whack.I would make the same decision for my kids or my wife. Losing a finger is horrible, but much better than losing your arm.
