You left out Trump saying the mortality rate is surprisingly low and that its comparable to the flu. And that's just what he said tonight!! Let's not forget the tweets and the Fox interviews in the last 72 hours, all of which portrays a sense of lack of urgency in any respect.

Yes there are more than those that have been tested.

It is not certain that the number will explode because it is being spread so rapidly. We still do not know how rapidly it is being spread. We will see higher numbers for sure but some of the will be expanded testing and some it will be spread.

He repeatedly says he's making decisions based upon the data and what the team advises. Proof of that is the actions that have been taken.

If he's saying things that try to make people less freaked out about the situation who the hell cares. There are as many statements and more importantly actions he's taking that show he recognizes the seriousness of it.

Why not wait until actions show he's not listening to the experts?

Trump has been over the top at times, but the press has been delegitimizing itself for 30 years.
