I'm just waiting on things to dry out a bit... I have a months worth of mowing and brush work to do... Good timing to choose to stay home, I'll always be behind, but I need to take advantage, rather than rant on here. Sun is peeking through...

I know it ain't all about me, but I'm not cowering or being irresponsible, either.

It was "big government" when they decided to shut down the entire economy, which was about as bipartisan as any decision has ever been in my lifetime.

Giving people and businesses temporary life support that is only required because of federal action is a world of difference compared to what see saw in 2008, and isn't some unrelated government action to the initial decision to shut down the economy. Surely you understand that?

Going back to the beginning of this... The stimulus money was always going to be required if they were going to mandate a quarantine.

The convervatives against the mandated quarantine are being accused of being callous and willing to sacrifice thousands of people for money. The conservatives for mandated quarantine are somehow being called socialists for understanding consequential action has to be taken not to destroy the world economy. Not out of indirect government invervention, but as a direct consequence of government intervention.

It's an absurd line of reasoning. Especially considering, all the while, the Dems are holding up the process over nonsense.

Did you just quote John Bolton's angry response as proof trump didn't fire the pandemic response team? LOL Your cherry picked, uncited quotes won't dig you out from under this. Trying to obfuscate this through highlighted and bolded text from a trump supporter who was probably balls deep into the removal isn't a very convincing argument.

As a result of any argument made, the U.S. was woefully unprepared for this - despite warnings. Trump trying to shift blame to the former administration is laughable.

So, no; contrary to your BS statement - Only a week until April. The month Trump said this thing would vanish. Things should improve soon. - Trump did NOT say it would vanish, even back in Feb second week, when we had a handful of cases, no deaths.

Did he say it would vanish in the same sense that he also said Mexico would pay for the wall? Like, "I'm acting serious now, but if it doesn't work out - I was clearly just kidding?"
