A passenger who died on a bus in China has tested positive for a completely different virus than COVID-19 — one more fatal that often produces very similar symptoms, according to state-run media.

Hantavirus, IIRC, is different in (natural cases anyway) in E vs W hemispheres. Ours is more pulmonary and theirs is more hemorrhagic. Nasty stuff.

I hope I'm right in recalling it's not nearly as transmissible as things like flu or corona.
