Scared population, freak virus, president and press who continually go after each other, panic buying, quarantined, national guard getting called up, National press driven by clicks and ratings, social media going off the rails, misinformation that is rampant, another bailout we can’t afford...

This is one big, massive nightmare scenario, and it isn’t getting better anytime soon.

I feel ya, I've finally convinced my father he needs to avoid getting out for groceries, I'm gonna try to set him up for a month by hitting several grocery stores tomorrow, if necessary.

Hopefully, I can do a DECON and a quick drop off at his house, and avoid doing any harm.

That's awful. We are working on drive through sites down here. So important for exactly your situation. Keep people who are susceptible AWAY from medical sites unless we already know they have it!

Can you call the hospital to see if they have set up a special location for it that will reduce risk?


Also, I hear you on the "worry we give it to them by trying to help" issue. I have had a cough for a week. No fever or other issues so I think it's my standard spring cold. Still, as long as that is the case I will not go down to their locale, even if it's to drop something off.

We chose a scorched earth strategy
We decided everyone's health is the primary function of government.
Most people have a pretty simplistic understanding of how economies work
No one that mattered had the courage to say stop.

DT said the reaction was a hoax and downplayed it at every turn. Largely why we never prepared until too late.

I expect nothing from media. But from the POTUS I do and he has greatly disappointed and continued his childish ways. Buffoon.
