Ask Behr anything about anything not related to food

Email Ingles corporate and tell them about your raggedy ass store and good store. Might get an upgrade for the raggedy store.
I’m afraid that the remodel they just did on another existing store a couple of miles away IS the upgrade. Last I heard, they’ll be closing our store (not enough land to expand.) I don’t know what people without cars, rides etc do for shopping. I guess if you have to use the bus, you aren’t going to be buying two weeks’ worth of groceries for a family of four...

Confirmed case of Corona mext county over, and we are rural small town. Everybody comes in contact with one another

Unfortunately, it relies on demographics and the amount of customers within a certain area.

Heard today (maybe rumor) from the pharmacy our facility uses, suspected case in our small community. I think it will be in all communities eventually.

Edit: I read up on this crap everyday, so I will know how to react for my family and my work. I read that, they are just trying to slow it down, but will affect and effect in all areas. It’s just to be able to manage it.

Trying to slow the curve of hospital rooms and ICU Rooms . They can not buy ventilators.

Question.. is testing positive for Corona virus the same as testing positive for novel/COVID-19? Since corona virus has been around awhile wouldnt a large portion of those that test positive for corona just be ordinary corona?

As I understand it, it’s very specific for this one. Looks for the RNA pattern or something.

*waves hands in air* I’m way out of my pay grade in this area!

It does have both false negatives (you test negative, but in fact you’re infected) and false positives (you test infected, but you’re not.) Just like every other lab test to varying degrees.

So they do confirm with repeat tests, plus your signs and symptoms.

No, because the test is specifically for COVID-19. You are right, corona virus has been around for awhile. (Look on the back of Lysol cans, one of the viruses listed, oh not on knock off brands). It’s a strain of corona, that we haven’t built up any immunity to.

Up to 14 days on the front end and on the back end of testing negative on two tests.

With the app you just make your list up. Still have to go and pull it off the shelf.

I know, I’ve looked into it. I’m just stubborn, but realize I have to change with the times. Just hard to think of someone else doing my grocery shopping and making substitutions, without me being there. I already have to do that, when I place my order to my food vendor. It doesn’t always work out.

So what’s the point?
Its keyed to your local store so that you make the list up and it sorts by aisle. Take your list and go buy instead of wandering up and down the aisle. I can take a list for a full buggy and be out of the store in under 30 minutes. Still pick produce and meat myself.

I finally turned over my pasta maker, with attachments to my son. I’ve been telling him for years, he would enjoy making and eating it. He sent me this picture and couldn’t believe the difference.

I need to get mine out, love fresh pasta, and it is fun to make.
