What is hard for you to understand? If the facts about the risks are made available then everyone can choose how much risk they are willing to take. If I go out in public I’m only interacting with people willing to take the same risks so I’m not endangering anyone more than I am endangering myself.

What about the cardiac patient that is scared to go to their follow up appointment with their cardiologist.

Or the diabetic that has an ulcer that gets infected.

Or the bipolar patient that doesn’t go to the therapist.

The overreacting is worse than the virus.

So if the old folks and at risk folks are staying in and everyone else is out living life, when do the old folks and at risk folks get to go out to shop, see doctors, pay bills? Are all the living life folks going to disappear for a few hours. Is everyplace going to close for a few hours to disinfect and the let the old or at risk come in?

I’m seriously trying to figure out how a selective quarantine by age and/or infirmity would successfully work to protect the venerable.

Not everyone has family to help, or bank plastic to use, or private transportation..

This virus will likely mutate again and might become even more deadly than it already is. It’s here to stay 365 days a year till we get a vaccine.

Now that Komifornia has a statewide lock-down, what are they doing with their huge "live on the street and shoot drugs" population? Are they just over looking what ever they do? Maybe they don't want to step on any used needles, or human crap-interesting.

If any of you on this string (those with a brain) have a few minutes you can go back and ID the complete fools-many panic fanning, commie sympathizers predicted most of us would be dead by now. The emergency rooms would be full of bodies, millions would be infected and at least 3.4% of those would be dead of dying. Yet, here we are 21 march, and in the entire US we have less than 160 dead. The vast majority of those that have died are elderly-most had pre-existing conditions. We have people that either work in ERs or have family members working in ERs, they've reported the conditions are just terrible, yet we have less than 160 dead. If panic killed we would have millions dead. If stupid panic killed, we'd have 10's of millions dead. Yet, here we are less than 160 dead. What's going on???? Could it be that some people are not only in a panic mode, but they aren't telling the truth?

I think the virus and the deaths are real.

However, the threat and the reaction to the threat are overblown... possibly for a more sinister purpose.
