I have mixed feelings on just prescribing Hydroxychloroquine for everyone. I have many patients that need this drug because of certain autoimmune diseases. I’m not letting anyone get more than a 1 month supply at my pharmacy right now. This drug is already on backorder and my company is scrambling to get hands on more. There has to be a set of guidelines and protocol to prescribe. If doctors just give it to everyone then it could potentially affect another large population of people. You all can complain about trials and what not but when there is date showing this drug does prolong life expectancy for those with autoimmune diseases and there isn’t COVID 19, what do you do? That’s where I find myself right. Difficult situations for everyone.

(9) 3/20: I woke up feeling as good as I have felt through this whole ordeal. I was really worried about a package of wine being delivered today that I got anxiety during and after the delivery. I spent the next hour winded. So I still have a lot of recovery to do. I was not really sure how to handle the delivery guy so I made signs to put on the windows and sure enough he comes up the opposite direction they normally come, away from the windows by the front door, so I had to open the door and tell him to stop before he gets too close to the house. I let him know that we had been exposed. He got this "oh crap" look on his face and started sitting the box down like it was a bomb. Another funny story, my wife had a coworker pick up a couple of things for us and drop them off. She texted my wife when she had dropped them off and we go out to get them and they are all the way in the middle of the yard by a tree, not even close to our porch. No test results, I guess it will be Monday. Symptoms: shortness of breath and minor chest discomfort.

The virus scares me but the economy grinding to a halt terrifies me. If most of us has to miss more than a couple weeks work it's going to be hell climbing back out the hole.
The virus scares me very little.

The economic disruption scares me terribly. And the way people have reacted en masse, like some big hivemind, scares me too.

Surely the govt. knows they cannot shut everything down without crippling the economy.

I am hoping it is just going to be a few weeks thing to allow enough tests to be produced to move to the test and then only quarantining the sick model.

If not and I recover I will be working from a bar on Soi Cowboy drinking Singha for a few months.

Get some rest and know we're still praying for you

Yup the media and social media is making the situation worse by the day. The need to sensatulize everything is starting to cause real panic. Corona isn't Captain Trips. People need to calm down.
