Same guy that refuses to be alone with a woman who isn't his wife? LOL.
Yeah, but what about 20 years ago, at someone's house she didn't know?Smart man. You know for some reason 25 years after the fact when a republican is elected to office or appointed to a political position they are accused of sexual assault.
If I was a republican politician I would never be alone with a woman other than my wife or significant other.
What is the end game here?
I mean what numbers do we hit before government feels safe enough to give the green light?
I mean the R on the infection rate can drop below 1, which will make rifleman happy as a pig in mud. But wont the case be made it will shoot back up if we all start congregating and relations again?
At the rate we're doing things, you're probably going to see the highest number of infected in late June. I wouldn't be surprised if we went on a France/Italy style lockdown (Nat'l Guard/essential local travel only) before mid-April. We're definitely going to see it some states by the end of March. Probably the West Coast states, NY, IL, and Florida. The public reaction is Florida will be interesting to see.
If that’s the case we are looking at a decade for recovery if we even recover.
I believe (and hope) you are too pessimistic with your time line.At the rate we're doing things, you're probably going to see the highest number of infected in late June. I wouldn't be surprised if we went on a France/Italy style lockdown (Nat'l Guard/essential local travel only) before mid-April. We're definitely going to see it some states by the end of March. That's somewhere between best and worst case scenario. Worst case sees this peak higher but end sooner. I think there are arguments for that, considering the demographic and outcomes it has on it.
Cold logic says to hell with the 80+ crowd and saves our economy. Any other way leads to the worst recession we've seen in half a century.
It's hard to say whether or not I'd be okay with as many as 10 million people (predominantly the elderly) dying in exchange for the preservation of our economy and, subsequently, the global economy.
The chicoms didn’t have a problem with masks in their hospitals because this is at least the 3rd epidemic episode they’ve had over thereWhat a bunch of crap. Communist China didn't seem to have a problem with masks in their hospitals. Heaven forbid some centralized planning benefit the people. Stockpiles are bad for business. Get it.
