Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Yes he did. Now it up to you to follow that lead.
Ah, so now he is leading. Interesting. I was told yesterday he isn’t leading. That wasn’t you was it? Perhaps it was my friend RT85. No, I would’ve remembered our jovial exchanges. Regardless, I’ve never said that human lives aren’t important. I do think we’ve overreacted based on the data but I trust the leadership of our country so no worries.

Listen, I don’t have a team on this except the team of millions preparing to help those in need. There is a team that took an oath to do no harm and that oath is absolute. I will criticize anyone who is counterproductive in that mission, which the president has been in the past in regards to this outbreak, but now, for whatever reason has come onboard. He’s telling Americans that have previously ignored the experts in this matter that we should be following the expert’s lead. That’s a good thing. So yes, he’s leading people in the right direction, finally.

I’ve seen thousands of patients hospitalized with alcohol withdraw. There is even a standard treatment, usually tapered Ativan. In some cases alcohol withdraw can kill you.
He was giving you a hard time for saying alcohol withdraw instead of withdrawal. I have seen severe cases of that, and you are correct that it could be a side affect issue, but i wouldn't put that number into the thousands or millions like some in this thread have. And they can simply buy alcohol from other stores

I'm sure there are hundreds of thousands of cases of alcohol withdrawal per year. I just don't think I've ever seen a medical professional that thinks "withdraw" is a medical thing. Kind of like, I don't expect a medical professional to think that cansur is deadly, or that Chicken Pocks is dangerous in adults. Or when we're doing our techie thing and someone pronounces SQL as, well, Ess Queue El, instead of See Quell. Eyes roll and we know we're dealing with someone who's read books.

Alcohol Withdraw, huh?

Haha...Yeah, well, you are the liar in this case.

Oh I see, yeah, just speeding through these responses on my breaks lol. He caught me.

I’m in a state with a fairly unique situation. All state liquor and beer distributors are state-owned. Grocers and convenience stores are not allowed to sell alcohol (sans a very few exceptions). All state run distributors are closing as well as all bars and restaurants.

Yeah, you caught me, I’m a fraud. I’m used to writing it ETOH W/D, but I didn’t think that would make sense to anyone.

As i stated previously (and this isn't a shot at YOU) but it sounds like your state, your medical facilities, your dept of health, and your governor are the reasons your state is having issues that Tennessee is not
