Quick story: My grandmother with the wonderful first name Usa (everyone called her eusie) was a 26 year old volunteer nurse during the 1918 epidemic. Her father was a well known bootlegger. Every day she took a bottle of diluted white lightning to work and kept in her apron pocket. She said she used to wipe her hands, nose and mouth often throughout the day. I understand when she got home the bottle was empty but she never got the flu.

Have to say most ppl are handling this really well..save for the run on cleaning supplies and TP....the slow walk helped imo but folks are handling the social distancing and the cancellation of events pretty well so far...made for some hilarious memes too

Wait we still have to fund health care for all, free college, student debt, minimum guaranteed basic income, reparations, infrastructure, raise the minimum wage, combat climate change, etc. Include that in your equation please.

I think I have done a good job of laying out the failure of the industry and it's not because of the ACA. I've heard all the stories. Obama lied said you could keep your doctor. Serious question, what part of the ACA caused that sole group to pull out of the area? Is it the part where they have to provide that standard level of coverage outlined in the ACA? Can you say it was anything other than a business decision to increase profits?

Money wont go to 330000000. Most likely to people who file income taxes and under a certain income level and I'm willing to bet next year when you file..you'll be paying it back. Im going to use mine to buy a new gun since I dont live paycheck to paycheck.

Wow, now there’s a leap off a cliff without even glancing around and thinking just maybe the public comments were following the experts advice provided at that time to not create panic. But we know for a proven fact that no other President in the history of the world has ever followed and spoken on advice given that may not mesh with their personal thoughts.🤦‍♀️

It was a business decision to limit losses. You can't fight the maths. If the gov't dictates business practices that guarantee lost revenues, businesses have to retreat. If they rush in an lose money for long enough, they go out of business. Again, you can't fight math.
