He is also the type to praise Trump for gains in his healthcare stocks, brag about how well his business is doing under Trumps tax plan. But Blame Obama because he cannot afford to give his employees health insurance.

If you don't think he cares about his employees, there is something really wrong with you but we've known that for a long time, Mr. Judgmental.

I encouraged them to go that route. Told them to bring me the receipts and I would give them a raise equal to approximately 1/2 of their premiums. None took me up on it. All I can tell you is we had blue cross/blue shield. Max out if pocket of $1000 annually, $30 copay at Drs office, prescription drug coverage. All that for about $30/week out of their check. I paid the other half. Obama care happened, blue cross blue shield pulled out. Called everywhere I could and was told we have nothing for you. Since trump has loosened the stuff up, I have companies calling me now so we will probably add it back soon.

We were almost in the same boat, we were able to find another carrier but costs doubled.

I wasn't on the plan. I was on my wife's plan. I was covered but after your savior screwed everything up the plan hurt the very people it was supposed to help. All it did was give insurance to the deadbeats paid for by the working man.

Give? People still have to pay the premium. The people that were getting insurance free, kids and the elderly, are still getting insurance. The purpose of the Affordable Care Act was to allow people with Pre Existing conditions to afford insurance. What talking points are you reading from?

In essence, it took the burden off of small business and allowed individuals to purchase plans on the exchange. That is if their state expanded coverage. The gripe is with state leadership. Not ACA...

All I have heard is how well the economy is under Trump, low unemployment, record profit; but those small businesses in Republican controlled states can't afford health insurance for their employees because of Obama. SMH.

There were areas of the country where private insurance wasn't available after ACA was enacted. In TN BC/BS was the only option in many parts of the state and with ACA they scaled back so he probably had no options to offer his employees.
