Sad that people here keep posting statistics from countries with tons of active cases as though every non-fatal case has been cured. It is a testament how poor our science and mathematics literacy is in this country.

In Italy's cases for instance:

* 83% of cases are still active
* 6.8% of cases remain critical
* 7.3% have died.
* only 9.4% of Italians have recovered.

This is a novel virus and the event is closer to the beginning than the end. People should stop acting like they have final statistics to make comparisons.
