Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Our Walmart doesn't have any online pickup options for the next week....so they want us to actually go in the store and get the virus?

I meant there were cases here but the people weren’t being tested for this virus.

This is entirely possible. The number of patients who presented with flu-like symptoms but tested negative for the flu was way up even at the beginning of winter. Many of these patients died.
If it’s true that it was here without any acknowledgement or action points to even worse ineptitude from leadership than what we perceive that we know now.

I went to Publix in Hixson about an hour ago to get some mozzarella cheese. Making pizza. The TP isle was still empty but everything else there was normal. I did not go down the cleaning isle that was probably empty too but I did get a loaf of bread while I was there.

We went to get bread today and our store was sold out. So we came home and made some.

It’s delicious. And it gave me plenty of energy to keep running my hand sanitizer scalping side hustle.

I edited it before the grammar lesson. I know you don’t care about my business. But you are questioning our countries best scientists. The one’s trump has put on his task force. Now people are mocking global titans of business. Seems pretty stupid. Especially when you consider Trump isn’t firing these scientists or bashing them. Isn’t that what he does with dissenters?
You must have me confused with someone else. I haven't questioned anyone's business decisions on this virus, or the treatment of the virus that I can think of. If people want to close their place of business, have at it. I don't care. I don't understand why you jumped me, and said that I thought I knew more than they did.

The first American case likely is months old at this point. Most people who contract this virus exhibit mild cold like symptoms. It's the other 20% who develop more serious symptoms. With all the travel and commerce we have with China it would be highly improbable the first case in America is only a couple of weeks old, it likely wasn't discovered.

Sure... I'll buy that, after all I'm not an epidemiologist who was studying the thing months ago.

But I'm guessing the 20% of new infections that will have serious problems will be happy to know that it's highly improbable that the first case is only a couple of weeks old.

Make sure to tell everyone you potentially infect that because you didn't want to miss out on the buffet at Sizzler. It'll take some of the sting out.

You are correct. I apologize.

That's what's actually happening I think. And not just the country. Around the world. What do you think is going to happen when more testing happens of a virus that's been here since December and the numbers to begin to grow? More shutdowns, curfews, travel restrictions.

People are advocating for it, but they're not thinking of the after effects.

The after should be:

"... when things look bad and it looks like you're not gonna make it, then you gotta get mean. I mean plumb, mad-dog mean. 'Cause if you lose your head and you give up, then you neither live nor win. That's just the way it is."

And then take it out on China ... make 'em pay - really pay. We have to not squabble among ourselves, and focus on the real villain.

You need to write that in bold letters or some will not see it. ONLY TWO GENDERS !!!
I've seen a few, mostly younger people lately, that were like Pat. I honestly wasn't sure what sex they were. I wonder what they looked like at 5 or 6 or 8 years old, because it seems like they want to look androgynous.

The last time I was in the store the bread aisle was wiped out but I walked across the store to the bakery and there was enough bread to feed an army.

Sounds like they’re experiencing current inventory issues and can’t guarantee what is ordered meets the available in stock numbers...imagine that happening under the ongoing panic buying conditions, who’d a thunk it.
